Benching 295lbs

onelegged sqauts(pistols) with 70lbs

Concentrating on Oly lifts like clean and press and deadlifts for endurance and explosiveness.

Bodyweight of 157lbs.

What i learn and apply will be taught to my 2 daughters and nephews so they can in a physical sense, be world class athletes while in school.

Thoughts and/or questions are welcome.:thumbsup

Are you tempted to go up to the 300 mark?

You know, just because it is a round number?

Not been doing any - just other sorts of training.

Mostly boxing type training actually.

Rounds on the bag, skipping, pads, sit-ups etc.

Only thing I am not doing right now is running.

I still do some upper body strength work, but I am not training like a powerlifter at all.

It just makes my body cry out for too many calories, plus it is difficult to make massive strength gains when you are trying to lose massive amounts of weight

All is well though - couldn't be happier with the way things are progressing.

Concentrating on Special Ops type training that requires mental as much as physical strength.

Krav Maga is a style i am really getting. Thats about it when i work 70 plus hours a week in the printing industry.:D

Keep up the gains my Sith/Jedi brother in arms.:thumbsup

...........Puma, when's your next race, and what's the distance?

I did my last marathon in early May, beating my old PR by 17:11. Finally got under four hours (3:53:22). About 20 minutes slower than you, you young bastard :( , but I'll take it.

I feel 5k is the best i could do right now and my time would depend on how bad i fade at the end. I'll keep you updated friend:thumbsup

..........Many thanks my friend. I averaged an 8:45 mile through the first twenty before the wheels started coming off the wagon a bit. Hit "The Wall" at the end of the 25th mile. Thank god it came so late.

That's fucking impressive as far as I'm concerned, I can't even balance.

Try holding a 5kg weight straight out infront of you as you go down.

I can't even do it with my own bodyweight, let alone with another 5kg. Cheers though.
