Cotto stays in the Top5. But he should not rank higher because of beating MARGARITO.
I would probably rank Pacquiao above Calzaghe.

Depends on how well they perform and how well they win.
Mine would probably be though
1 Calzaghe
2 Pacman
3 Cotto

some people are really bewildering when they put calzaghe above pac calzaghe has two decent wins kessler and hopkins (thats assuming you think he did win i didnt but we'll go by official results) whereas pac if he beats diaz has beaten marquez victories over morales and barrera titles at 4 weight classes his achievments dwarf calzaghes

Once aspect that seems to go over most people's head when discussing the current PFP list is that a boxer's past accomplishments should have minimal bearing, unless they occured recently!
Both PAC and Calzaghe have recent disputed wins.

If you checked correctly you would notice that officialy he only has one win over JMM.
And the PFP lists are based on personal opinions so it's understandable that anyone thinking JMM won both fights(and from the looks of it there were plenty who thought so) would rate him higher than PAC.

Calzaghe is no1 on my list now and a very solid no1...
Defeating David Diaz won't change that, David is one of the weakest champ today:
-won an INTERIM title via stunning coming from behind (or lucky punch if you like) KO after rounds of rounds of schooling from Santa Cruz
-Mexican Jose Sulaiman wrongfully and corruptly stripped true LW champ Casamayor only to make Diaz-Morales a 'legitimate' world title fight for Morales' 4th division title try
-in the end Diaz recieved a controversial win vs. the shot Morales
-hasn't done anything since then...
Calzaghe is a The Ring champ in 2 divisions. Techically he's unified all SMW titles (never lost the IBF in the ring). Undefeated. Won a very close fight vs. Hopkins in his first fight in his new division, in the US debut, in Hopkins' backyard vs. a Golden Boy fighter, event and judges... Pavlik could be the next victim...
For me, Calzaghe is a solid no1... and I like both guys, PacMan and him... only Calzaghe is a multi-dimensional fighter in the ring, just not the Hopkins fight was the right one to show you that (the Kessler fight is much better to see what is he capable of).

But that does not work in reality. You could conceivably have some people having Castillo and DLH beating Mayweather, Marquez beating Pac-Man, Rafa Marquez beating Vasquez, Hopkins beating Joe C, Taylor beating Pavlik etc. etc. You may not agree with some verdicts but in the end you have to go with the official decision, or else things just get fucked-up.

I think it would be a travesty if a 36 year old Joe Calzaghe is rated the best boxer in the world p4p at the moment. He not the fighter he was a couple of years ago and his embarrasing punch technique doesn't befit the title "Best boxer in the world in any weight class". So by default, I would go for Packeow number 1 with Calzaghe number 2.
