He has a huge following in Japan and Venezuela, he's young and will be a very good champ.

He's very good and i think he's the best Venezuelan boxer right now (better than Valero).

Akihiko Honda has manage his career very well.

I predict a victory for Linares by UD or late stoppage.

He has a good punch, but Larios is very tough.

It's interesting that the 2 best Venezuelan boxers had made their careers in Japan.

You're impressed with that? He's very average and that was against a glass jawed tomato can.

The kid isn't bad, normally I wouldn't be so negative. But he's fighting Oscar Larios, a well skilled veteran...

This video that WSB posted was Linares' most recent fight, note how Linares freezes when that tomato can landed some shots....

Larios may finish him off. He needs a lot of work before stepping up to someone as experienced as Oscar Larios.

I don't know what you people see on Jorge Linares. :-(

The guy is 23-0-0 (14 KO's) with no good named fighter in his resume. Larrios is 59-5-1 (37 KO's) a veteran . . .

I'm with Larrios! :hey :yep :good

He reminds me of Barrera.

KOing Larios is very impressive feat.

I would like to see Linares against Rafael Marquez.

Promising kid. Gets hit waaay too much though. He can't do that against heavy hitters.

I like his combo punching.

It's so obvious he imitates the style of De La Hoya. Probing a beaten man with his left hand before unleashing combinations, pumping a double jab followed by a right hand and left hook.

Not to mention he calls himself El Nino de Oro.

Yeah he was extremely tremendous. He can pace himself, hes patient, great jab and good speed too. He fights very mature for 21. He's a great finisher too. He is the real prospect among the young guys tonight and I think he will be a big force.
