Nah nah nah . . . he won't be. The best that could happen is Bhops going up to # 3 slot where Winky used to be.

No, but he will have legitimate claim to #1 p4p fighter of this era.
But this win wont put him over Pac and PBF. Your insane if you think so.

As much as it makes me sick. Him losing pretty badly the first 6 rounds of both Taylor fights still keeps him from being p4p if he wins. Those fights were not that long ago. He will be top 4 though.

These two might as well call this fight "for the #1 p4p" a win for either will be one of the biggest in there career, and if Hopkins does it then id rank him over PBF and maybe even Pacman.

I think if he beats Winky, and fights another big fight such as against Calzaghe and wins there he will be #1 Winky alone wont get him that he must have another big win behind it.

B-Hop should still be P4P #1 right now. Losing two, controversial, razor thin, decisions to a young, talented, hungry, undefeated fighter should not have been enough to drop B-Hop from the top spot. After Nard dominates tonight, he should definately reclaim his rightful position as the number 1 P4P fighter. No disrespect to Floyd, but Nard seeks out true challenges and has no weaknesses in that ring.

Hopkins has one fight with Taylor that he can make a case for himself, The rematch gave Hopkins every bit of an opportunity to turn it around and he couldnt turn it around. I had both fights scored for Taylor the first fight 115-113 and the rematch 116-112.

I never said Nard won those fights. I said the fights were close, and controversial(people still debate the outcome). If you take on true challenges like Nard does, you're bound to lose. I don't think it's fair to punish a guy for bringing honor to the sport by taking on the best competition available. Taylor is a good, tough fighter, and those fights were real close.

He would clearly be #2, arguably #1.
