I am by no means a professional photoshopper, so please be kind. Some are small because of poor quality or size of the original photo.

Inspired by the Fantasy Fight Poster Gallery thread, I went nuts with the photoshop assembling photos of fights we have all had conversations about, but never got a glimpse of.

These are photos of mythical matchups that make the mind reel, please enjoy!

Good stuff man! Really like them! Not sure about the last Marciano v Frazier one though - looks very doctored. Can you do it in a matt finish like the others?

Suppose the challenge would be to do it in colour :hey

I have that one in mind, I just don't have many good ones of Hearns to match the Robinson photos I have... I am working on it, though.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of machinary do you need in order to doctor photos like this? What techniques are involved, and how does one do it at home, or do you do work with film for a living?

No machinery at all- just software called Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Many techniques are involved, and I am self-taught, if I was professional, these would be alot better.

This is simply a hobby I do-

I would love to do Marciano-Dempsey, but I have tons of pics and none match up correctly... Trust me, I've tried.

The overwhelming majority of Dempsey photos are from an elevated view; if there were some pics taken from ringside (upwards or from the same level), I'd have alot more to work with...

I know photos of Bowe are difficult to find, & i love the title you gave this Superfight. Watching Tyson-Ruddock I/II & Holyfield-Bowe I/II, i can think of no greater fantasy war which could've happened (without the very unfortunate & fishy imprisonment of Mike) than Tyson-Bowe in '92. :!:
