Mine is the straight right hand lead. I particularly like to throw it after taking a few steps back.. opponent not expecting it or a jab at best, planting the feet, bang!. It's hard to time though.

That right hand, when it lands, is very satisfying.
However, I feel my toughest punch is the left hook.
Probably my best punch is my left jab, I have fairly long arms and good form.

Right cross. I feel the most power from that punch, and is getting faster.

Lefthook to the body ive sent a boy to the hospital with it and KOed 3 amateur opponets with it. Im not calling myself Miguel Cotto but its a effective punch for me.

Nice one, jimmie, I gotta work on my hooks to the body.
Having said that, my right uppercut is mean too.

I like uppercuts watching them on TV but im so fucking nice I hardly throw it I just for some reason get sick at the thought of making someones head jerk back violently.

You can't be nice in boxing, you never know when you find a dude who just doesn't care if he takes your head off.

You can be merciful, granted!

make that head jerk back with an uppercut then unload the straight and its like a tree falling.

its kill or be killed in that ring, if you dont know your role in the fight, good luck!

I love the left hook to the body from an Orthodox stance. When landed properly that punch is sweet.

Slipping a jab and coming in ala Tyson with a left uppercut, followed by a right hand to the ribs.
Or a left hook to the body, it's a nice feeling when you connect and know that it hurt like hell on your opponent.

Overhand right is my favourite.

Left hook needs lots of work.

Right uppercut to the body, on the inside. Or the left hook the same way.

for me it has to be a southpaw right hook. most southpaws are left hand punchers and rearely do you get that type of punch. but once you get the whole wieght behind it then wham all over

Im right handed, fighting southpaw.
Unfortunately my jab would be the weakest (my right hand).. which is not helpful! Because your jab is the most important shot!
My strongest is the straight left. Love just whipping it from the chin quick. Ive worked on training my unnatural left, to be better than my right. DOH!

i have been watching de la hoya fight since i was young and he used to always throw left hooks, then i see miguel cotto who also throws a mean left hook so i started practicing, i have gotten so used to it that sometimes i accidentally throw it as a lead punch followed by the jab

right handed southpaw with a weak jab? isnt that the whole point of fighting southpaw for a righty?

point was to give orthodox fighters something to think about... just awkwardness.
..but yeah, that was my point. something to work on!

My hardest punch is a right hook which I hate cause im orthodox and it means my hook takes longer to arrive compared to a left hook.

Jab, then left hook... I like the right but don't use it very often.. Nice when I do land it though.

Right Hook, Jab, than probably my left uppercut. I feel like my cross is strong when i throw it, but thats not often.

Im southpaw and 5'5 at 130...
