We cant wait for the fight its very exciting, we think it will be a great fight ,why I say Willy cant loose is WIN or Loose the fight willy will still be a winner . Gairy will never hurt him so the experiance he will gain from this fight will be priceless . Its a win win proposition. so Kickett is a sure thing in our eyes.

This will help his development & confidence more than nearly all of his previous bouts combined.

I think this is the right time for Gairy to be fighting him. He is on the way out I reckon, he looked pretty bad in his last fight.
But that is Gairy, he fights to his opponant a lot, he may look average in a 6 rounder against Sakpon Taxi Cab but he lifts for the big fights and he has never looked out of his league with some really good fighters.
I pick Kickett but I think it will be closer than many expect. Gairy knows he isnt a puncher so he fights to his strengths. He is a very experienced little fighter and has faced better guys than Willie, and held his own.

Its a long shot, but i still think Kickett can get the stoppage. First to stop him would be impressive.

Had a chat to young William last night, & he is very confident in getting the win.
Should be a great fight & i expect Willie to dominate.

St Clair is a good fighter but as these short hightlights Show Kickett can be anything he wants to be if he keeps a level head.

Nice, i love his relaxed style of fighting. I will start getting nervous for him as he progresses cause i can see him becoming one of my favourites.

Everytime I see him I just think of Cliff Samardin and thats a great thing. Looking forward to following his career closely.

Leon, outta interest do you have any tapes of old Cliffy? One helluva fighter...
Kickett can't get loose? Thats no good. Tell him to come to Brissie, i'll take him out, get him proper f*cked up, big night on the town. Problem solved.

hahaha... That's what happens when your auntie and your uncle are also your mum and dad.... You get Marcus. I feel sorry for the poor cunt personally.
Don't take the comments personally Marcus, you're a credit to stupid inbred faliures all over the world. I sallute you.
Okay serious post now. Definitely looking forward to seeing kickett progress. He is in an extremely tough divsion right now, but he seems to have some talent, and is a breath of fresh air for Australian boxing, actually challenging himself with hard fights as a prospect, not just taking the tomato can path.

Nah Ippy, was only a teen back then but I know there is definetely tape of him out there, WWOS showed his whole fight vs Danny Bellert, and surely there must be more. Would love to see anything of him in action, anyone out there have him in their collections? Been thinking we should start a trading corner and swap fights if anyones interested.
But back to Cliffy, anyone know what hes up to now? Someone mentioned a comeback a few months ago but can't see it. One of Australian boxings great 'could have been' storys. Why did he stop when he was on the verge? Anyone have any info on him? Would love to know the full story on him if anyone knows.

I remember he retired briefly and headed back to Isa before a comeback. Any word on why he stopped Ippy?

Nah but I'll try and get to the bottom of it and let you know. Another one was Ernie Artango. Rated either 1 or 2 by the IBF when he gave it away...
LOL i started a thread about a month or two ago looking for stuff on Cliff Samardin but got very little response! If any of you guys find any footage at all please let me know.
