I've been doing a little thinking on how some all time lists could vary. For instance....my all time list for heavyweight champions is different from my list of all time greatest heavyweights list. Which in turn is different from my list of greatest heavyweight fighters h2h at their peak.

My lists are always subjective and changing the more I learn, but here they are. What are yours?

Greatest heavyweight champs.

1. Joe Louis
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Larry Holmes
4. Jack Johnson
5. Lennox Lewis
6. George Foreman
7. Rocky Marciano
8. Evander Holyfield
9. Mike Tyson
10. Jack Dempsey

Looking at this particular list a bit more closely I think I should replace Evander at #9 with Joe Frazier.

Out of interest, would anyone include either Harry Wills or Jim Jeffries in their top 10 heavyweights of all-time?

Both have very good records, Wills has wins over Luis Firpo, Jeff Clark, Kid Norfolk, Sam Langford, Gunboat Smith, Joe Jeannette and Sam McVea.

Jeffries has wins over James Corbett, Bob Fitzsimmons, Joe Choynski, Peter Jackson and Tom Sharkey.

Jeffries is just edged by Foreman and Liston in my list, Foreman only because of the comeback, and Liston im not sure why, i think he was very good before he won the title and formidable also, could be Jeffries in there maybe though

Wills beat Norfolk ,bu,the Kid was conceding around7inches in height and 36lbs in weight,Clark was 36 years old.Jeffries had a weight advantage of 39 and 47 lbs over Fitz ,30lbsx2 over Corbett similar over Sharkey plus 6inches in height , and over 50lbs on Choynsky.Plus Fitz was 37 and 40 years old,Corbett was 33 and 36 Jackson was an alcoholic wreck allready in the first stages of TB. So I cant put either of them in my top 10.

Thought there would be complications, I couldn't be bothered to check ages or heights/weights though.

It's not actually my opinion, I personally wouldn't have either top 10 p4p and my knowledge on them is a bit slim which is probably half the reason, was just interested to see if anyone had them in their top 10.
