IMO, i think you can make a case that Ortiz has a superior resume than both fighters. I mean the man beat 6 hall of famers:
joe brown
flash elorde
nicholino locche
duilio loi
ismael laguna
sugar ramos

Duran has beat 4 hall of famers and whitaker has beat like 3(even though buddy mcgirt and julio cesar vasqez should be in it for sure).

No doubt.

Ortiz is an all-time great, who's body of work can compare to all the other lightweights.

He has more top wins, but not better top wins, and the other two accomplished more at other weights. Not to mention were better on film. They still outrank him.

:thumbsup good post

Not by a lot. Infact, Ortiz could potentially beat both. He wasn't the kind of fighter who was out to win every round and dazzle the crowds so he didn't always look inspiring; no, Ortiz was Carlos Monzon in that he did just enough to win. But he was a very, very complete fighter and a very strong one at that, if anyone could beat him, he'd make them go through hell first.
