EuafmLvoJow&feature=relatedLuke Kelly-Raglan Road Not exactly what you'd consider as a song to get you pumped , but it's very distinctly Irish and extremely powerful .

z39yiPUfh1k&feature=relatedRunrig-An Toll Dubh , a bit more what you'd expect as far as getting 'pumped' goes , and it has a strong Gaelic sound in it .

The idea of being Irish and a Gael is important to me hence the selected songs .

BACK IN BLACK!

Of course "Back" would mean i'd had my arse kicked in the previous fight and all the pundits and commentators would be asking was I the same old Slugger or did the last fight take all I had. "Well now were going to find out" Says Ian Darke..............

Ring entrance music should be appropriate to the fighter and his ability, otherwise you could end up looking like a right chicken nipple kisser!!!

Just look at Anthony Farnell a few years back, now "arnie" as he likes to be known, who will ever forget the night he entered the ring to "We are the champions" and there he was stood on the ring steps facing the crowd singing this song to them, not long after "Arnie" gets sparked right out by Takaloo!!! Absolute classic and i loved every minute of it, i thought it hilarious him standing there giving it large singing his lttle head off only for Tak to almost take it off, WONDERFUL!!!!:D

I know awsome question if I say so myself.

I would have Teenage Wateland by The Who, would get the crowd pumped up.

That song is called Baba O'Reilly. Good choice though.

Mine would probably be "Runaway" by Del Shannon, "Do you really want to hurt me?" by Culture Club or "Over the hills and far away" (trad.).

If I wasn't a complete coward, I would probably have "Go for it" by SLF if anybody can be arsed to look it up.

Loads of different ones I could use.

Wombles theme song, for comedy value.
Probably for my big fights I would use Bruce Dickinson singing Jerusalem.
If it was a big enough fight I'd get to come and sing it there and then.

This song by Hatbreed - I live for this. Dance songs or rap music ain't good boxing entrance music, not heavy or primitve enough.

Tony Harrison

'Four Kicks' - Kings of Leon or 'Celebration Day' - Led Zeppelin.

The first one is obviously good fighting music the second my favourite song of all time.

I have to give that englander Macca big credit, mull of Kintyre was an astounding song. Everytime I see that vid, with the pipers on the beach its lump in the throat time!

However, John Farnham pips it IMO, but only just!
