I think it would be a good fight, well not an action filled fight but I think its Roy's best chance for a title, I think Roy can beat Hopkins, Styles make fights and I think Roy is all wrong for Hop

The lesson learned tonight if anything is that they had a hard time selling this fiht because people ae not dumb. They know that this was two old guys fighting eachother and that neither is the best in the division. Dawson is undoubtedl the best LHW and Kessler/Calzaghe the best at around 168/170.

Tarver, RJJ, Hopkins fighting eachother in eternity got old a looong time ago.

I dont think Roys weaknesses at this point in his career play into Hopkins strenghts. Styles make fights and I still think Roys way to quick for a fairly slow Hopkins.

I just saw Roy The Best Damn Sports show yesterday. He says he wont fight Hopkins because of some 3 strikes shit. Says Hopkins has played games with him, had his chance to fight Roy, but took the Winky fight for less money, so he wont fight Hopkins now. If they did fight I pick B-Hop by easy decision. But it aint gonna happen.

Don't think it'll happen, if Hopkins wanted it he would've mentioned it after the Winky fight instead of Calzaghe. Roy is one of my favorites and if this happens then he loses to Hopkins in one-sided fashion.

Bernard is a smarter fighter than when he fought Roy the first time. I don't think you need blazing speed to beat Roy. All you need is to pressure him and fight back and he will not know what to do. Bernard has been in some knock-down drag-outs. Roy has been in one. Bernard can knock Roy out just by staying on him and making him work. It's not really about speed. You can't really outspeed RJJ anyway. You have to put pressure on him. He's not the same fighter when he's not in a position where he's not in control. Anyway. I really don't think that at this stage in RJJ's career that he could keep B-Hop off of him is Bernard tried to knock him out. Roy would either get kayoed or badly beaten up.

I hope RJJ realizes this. I hope B-Hop realizes this. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "promises to be a dull assortment of posturing & prove absolutely nothing" type of matchup may happen someday.
