And i'm the first one to talk shit about Sylvia you all know it. I've critisized his shitty boxing. I said several times that the guy was as slow as a past prime foreman (only without the boxing technic)...

And yet...he's not totally talentless...Yes he's got real Ko power. Yes , he also has a solid takedown defense...yes , his wrestling is not total garbage. His sub defense has some problems but it's far from being the worst in mma.

And let's not forget that the guy's size is also a real advantage. Look what a monster like Choi did to fedor in a matter of seconds...sure , fedor won in the first...but size really makes a huge difference and choi certainly ain't as experienced as sylvia in mma.

So it should be very interesting...no matter what happens...even if it ends up being predictable..(let's say fedor does the usual , subs his opponent in the first) , let's still never forget that no fight is a 100% assured victory for the favorite.

I'm not advocating that the elbow should be illegal, as I think it's a fine weapon, BUT you have to respect the rules of that particular bout. Who knows, had the elbow been legal, maybe Fedor would have fought differently with that in mind.

They will never overturn it, TK is a legend in Japan. The situation was that the fight was in a tournament, and Fedor was cut with the illegal elbow. The rules did not take into account this particular scenario, so they had to rule a "winner" in order to advance someone to the next round, and since Fedor was unable to continue and they had no alternate they had to rule TK the "winner", as fucked up as that is.

I disagree. We've already seen Fedor fight these types of fighters and win. A dangerous match for Fedor is a dominate top position grappler with good submission defense. A la Barnett, or Randy. The closest we've come to this is when he fought Arona, and Arona gave him fits.

Other than a freak punch landing, Tim doesn't have a good style to really take it to Fedor in a prolonged match.
