mundine may be at the total mercy of his scheming freak mate nasser. mundine may have been a liked sportsman and a respected boxer. instead hes let himself be led by that racist freak show nasser.

mundine is a wasted talent. and will continue to be while nasser is in his ear. mundine may be making money, but when that is gone, he will be remembered for what he was. and its not pretty...a big mouth wanna be, who never backed up his talk of fighting the best. just another also ran.

moneys good. but out of mundines mouth comes the skite he will fight the best...be boxings bradman...etc, etc. no talk of money

hes a nothing. a titleless, pretend middle, who fights has beens and fringe contenders, and gets beaten every time he fights a decent fighter.

how so?He had his chance to better himself and he always and i mean always has taken the easy path.

Mate ran from a rematch with Kessler said he was going to drop to Middleweight to take on the best yet he is now calling Green out of retirement to fight him again which he already won this fight.

Next he will be calling out Fenech.

Mate im pissed ive stuck up for Mundine but not anymore. Like Paul Upham wrote in the Fist magazine Mundine can no longer pull the whool over my eyes.

this makes no sense to me. mundine moved to middleweight a division where he can actually become well known on the world stage and wants to fight in another australian derby 2 weight classes (im assuming danny will only fight at 175) above where he is currently campaigning. confusion anyone???

The thing that baffles me Blues is why didn't Danny just retain his WBA L/Heavy title in his first defence then Choc make the short trip north to fight for a legit title and become a legit two weight champ if sucsesful ? that way all this bollocks could have been avoided , im begining to think this is one of the best premeditated strokes EVER made in the history of boxing on Danny's behalf :deal

...or you mean he is done in your eyes?I mean like done in the fact we will never see him face Kessler or maybe Pavlik or maybe Taylor or maybe Calzaghe or maybe anyone inside say the top 5 in either 160 or at 168.

Its rubbish. Its a fing joke and i know your a fan Teke and so was i but ive lost my patience.

Like the third fight with Soliman wasnt needed just like a 2nd with Green is not needed.

Whats needed like i said is for him to take on a top 5 in either 160 or 168 and thats what should be happening.

Yeah if Choc doesn't fight a top 5 MW by the end of the year ill probably give up on him completely. Its frustrating to see such an abundance of talent not being utilised anywhere near its potential.

I believe Green's retirement was genuine, I just think that, like he said, Mundine/Nasser have offered him a ridiculous amount to come out of retirement for a rematch.

Look at it from Green's point of view - $5mill for a rematch where he himself probably thinks he has a good chance of winning. Come back for one more fight, make a massive amount of cash, maybe even get revenge for his loss in the first fight - I can understand why he would be thinking about it.

It's Mundine I don't understand - he's obviously looking for the most money, but to literally run from Kessler, giving his belt up in the process, to move down to MW, where he has been ranked #3 by the WBA, only to start calling Green out again is bizarre, and very obvious.

There was a bloke used to post on here called TSFO who I was sure was one of the Crampton brothers, he was here for years, dropping little hints here and there, then he disappeared for a year or so, apparently had gone over to Thailand with his girlfriend and did Muay Thai for a while.

Then when he started posting here again, some noob came on and called his bluff and he disappeared, never to post again

It was bloody weird.

Yeah i know. Pubs/clubs probably pay $1ooo/2ooo or so to show his fights. I would say that alot of private homes also pay the $50 for Mundines fights.
Mundine and his manager must have made some serious $$$$ in his career. Every single one of his fights has been ppv in Oz. Unbelievable.

Some of you guys are full of hateVeryy tall poppy.

Mundine is challenging himself by dropping weight. How many guys are at the elite level of 1 sport, change to another, become elite there, then decide to drop weight and try and become elite in that whilst in-between going up almost 10kg to challenge a former champ.

if you think you have matched that, and therefore have anyright to make such comments, then you need to get off the stuff and become clean living.

And Kessler had his chance. Mundine runs his own show and calls the shots. He is not controlled by any promoter like so many are.

You musta sucked too hard on Nasser's disease infected dick or something...:patsch

Let me get this straight...

Mundine is challenging himself by dropping a division to avoid a Mandatory defence against a boxer who comprehensively beat him when they fought previously.

FFS..... Are you totally fucking BRAINDEAD.....He handed back a World Title (sort of a title)....and what for?

He is gonna challenge himself by fighting a no-hoper in the lower division and then further challenge himself by bringing a fighter he has previously beaten, out of retirement...:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

The only thing here that is challenged....is you Gavin...."Intellectually Challenged":yep

I have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt in the past Gavin....But God only knows why your mother didn't drown you at birth....She musta kept you as a teething toy for her dogs or something...

Sorry Gavin....You really are just plain and simple.....DUMB!

I'm sorry but mundine was never the elite 5/8 in league & he isn't an elite world class fighter. He's got shit loads of talent but just like his league days hi smouth runs way ahead of himself. I remember in league when he said the selectors where racist but Wendall Sailor, Petro Cineoveca were in the team. Go figure? He's so keen on rematches with soliman & green, yet I have never heard him chasing down those that defeated him, I mean he never once tried to avenge manny siaca. that speaks volumes.

There's a lot of negativity on this thread directed toward Anthony Mundine and it's hard to argue against any of it!!

This guy's like the stereotype school bully. The only times he's challenged himself he's ended on his arse. Ottke - KO'd inside 10. Siaca - floored in the second & points loss. Kessler - bad UD loss.
