AND with the help of Amsterdam and Zakman I won my 50 back that I lost last weekend :yep thanx :good. This was a way better scrap than I thought it would be, not alot of standing and posing and feinting, for two old timers they put on a good show In my opinion.

I enjoyed the fight. If you go back and read my earlier posts, you'll see that I predicted just this. A rough, tough fight, that was much better than people were saying it would be.

I watched it without sound, so as to not be biased by HBO and the usual propaganda they spew. I did not have the fihgt that close i had BHOP winning 9-3 actually. maybe iam crayz. the only round i thought Wink CLEARLY won was round 4.

Hmm - I had BH winning 9 and 3 rounds draw (round 2,4,12). So I had the fight 120-111, 117-111 if being nice giving the 3 rounds to Winky?

But then again it was extremely difficult scoring the rounds, with all the clinching and unclean shots. I just think that BH had a little edge when delivering his combos, whereas Winky had problems being effective when trying to caching the running BH. I think the ring judges’ scorecards were just fine. But god – BH was a little dirty coming in with his small headbutts again and again. It was a smart fight made by BH, but it certainly wasn’t pleasant watching. Both guys should now retire – that is my recommendation.:bbb

Much better fight than I expected.Basically due to Winky being overweight and a great undercard!:thumbsup

Ill have to force myself to watch the Stinks fight before I make up my mind about that, Its only because Miranda was made for Pavlik and Spinks stunk the place out on the same night that so many are writing Taylor off, I think hes a very good fighter that will take some beating......I dont know who to chose in that one yet.

Think about this. Why has Taylor been facing nothing but light-hitters moving up from lower weights since Hopkins wobbled him?? This guy doesn't take a MW punch, and DiBella and HBO KNOW it. It also accounts, imo, for why he's seemingly so reluctant to engage, even with the lighter hitters.

They've been forced by public opinion to take on a legitimate MW contender finally, but it will be clear within 5 or 6 rounds why they avoided it for as long as they did.:yep

This isn't the shit-talking I do for fun around here. I would virtually GUARANTEE this guy doesn't take a good punch, and that Pavlik will show this emphatically. :nod

Awful? Lol...you must br ray robinsons soul to be so high and mighty to claim Taylor is awful. he has never lost decisively in the ring & his level of comp is very high since beating hop the first time (I thought hops won). most wins were not against legitimate MW's but all were very Hard boxers for anyone to beat stylistically.

I thought Spinks beat Taylor.

Taylor's awful.

An awful fighter doesn't give Hopkins (twice) and Winky tough, competitive fights like Jermain did.
Even if you think he lost all three of those fights, they were very close.

Yes, his last two fights have not been pretty, but there is no way he is awful.

I wish the fight would have been broadcasted by Showtime, at least we would have had lovely shots of ring girls between rounds.

If Adriana Lima and Jessica Alba decide to recreate the fight i would watch it, with all the grabbing that went on it should be interesting.

I double up on that one, Taylor can't handle pressure and has physically gone down on what he was vs. Winky and Hopkins, plus he's got a fragile chin that's ready to be shattered.

Hey champs, another tip is Vernon Forrest over Baldomir. It's as certain as it gets in boxing, there is nothing that Baldomir has to give Forrest trouble and Forrest likely could win with 1 arm...

If you get 1/2, that's GREAT odds, because this ought to be 1/10 in all honesty.
