**For what is worth: BHop v. WW went exactly as I expected.....Ugly...?

Last night fight was one of those that I didn't care if I watch but also was slightly curious about it...since I posted here I knew that the fight would ahve a controversial UD for BHop, I knew that the fight was going to be dictated by BHop and that it was going to be ugly and with selected moments of excitment....I can't say that neither fighter impressed me, BHop was far more deliberate and holdiong that I expected, and WW was slower, his legs didn;t hace any springness and didn;t carry the weight well...

My highlite of the night was Jorge Linares....systematically putting his punches together to outclass and out box Larios, this guy might be the real thing and the one that we will be hearing his name for a while, discipline, smart, great footwork mostly fighting backward against a pressure fighter like Chololo, and neutralizing Larios attack...he is accurate and very good hand speed....and can take punch , Larios connectd cleanly several times on the chin, and Linares was not bothered by it...

The scorecards were out, no way was there 6 rounds in it, it was a rough fight and it was close, people were expecting Winky to beat Hopkins on workrate alone :huh like Hopkins has bad stamina or something, in the final rounds it was Winky who was having trouble keeping up. It was a good performance by Hopkins and it went how I thought it would.

That exactly what I said....Ugly fight....and WW absolutely faded in the last 3 rounds.....this fight oucome was not a surprized......that the judges had an intereting combination of scores, also didn;t surprized me....that Byrd should have taken a point off to Bhop , yeap!!!

Man for some reason i really seen that fight closer than the judges had it.....i thought for sure would be a draw or SD....when i heard the scorecards with 116 -112 and 117 - 111.....id ont even know the other one but those two shocked the shyt outta me! Did anyone really see it that one sided?

Agreed...but after I heard the first card, I know BHop won UD...the calling of the first score card told the 3 judges story of the fight....

I scored the fight 116-113 B-Hop.Sweeping the last 4 rounds was the differance on my card.
The undercard was very entertaining!:thumbsup
