I had to help a friend move and there was no cable installed yet. What happened?

They both brought their A game, and it made for a boring, but interesting fight. That is their styles, and nobody should be surpised that they use the styles that work for them.

Typical Golden Boy Productions fake fight. I'm glad I get HBOPPV for free because just about every PPV fight lately has been "staged". I feel sorry for anyone that shells out good money for these sparring sessions. I think even the judges were paid off this time so B-Hop would win and there would be controversy over the head butt and decision so that a rematch can be made. It just never ends with Golden Boy Productions (it really never does as its always 12 round decisions) and it's always the same dull controversies fight after fight.

At least one of the undercard fights for this bout Michael Katsidis Vs Czar Amonsot was actually an awesome fight worth watching.

As Jim Lampley said... What people will remember from the Winky Wright Bernard Hopkins fight is that it's the night they first saw Katsidis fight!.

They hugged it out. There was even a few times when hopkins was hugging winky from behind and looked like he was getting ready to sodomize him.

boring fight but the fact that it was close (or at least I thought it was) kept me interested.

Wow, Mr. Presscot, i didnīt expect you to be intelligent enough to create a second account.

Nope actually a new poster who has become so disgusted with the fake fighting on PPV that he's come to vent and see if anyone else has noticed the staging going on? I shall reserve my comments as to the intelligence of anyone that believed the "Mayweather - De La Hoya" fight was real" ... remember Floyd even had to drop his guard so Oscar could get some shots in. Hopkins Wright was the same canned entertainment. Sorry to burst your bubble dude.

Great undercards, mediocre main event. I thought both guys looked old and slow from the first bell.
Hopkins style was ugly and he held and mugged a lot, but it was obviously very strategic on his part. He developed a plan to win, even though it was damn ugly to watch.
