Simply not fucking good enough missing out rounds 1 and 2.
WTF were they thinking?

Setanta need to start when the America tv starts, not a hour later.

We missed only a round. Round one. We went on air at 3 - the broadcast started at 2 from Las Vegas. It's the way timings work. Nobody was happy. It's not an apology - just an explanation.
Adios.

Well I was still on ESB at that point so missed the first couple of rounds any way. Glad to see Bunce in fine form last night, hilarious.

It was only the first round that was missing. Don't think timing can be used as an excuse as setanta showed the Barrett vs Fields fight first, when this could easily have been shown later.

Thats true.
However, missing the first round is better to me than missing the whole fight. Well done to Setanta for giving us these big bills from America; I really enjoyed last nights action: The one round demolition of Fields, the controversy of the Soto fight, the swinging fortunes in the Luevano-Santiago bout, and the rampaging display by Pac.
Yes, Setanta do need to tweak with things a bit, but at the end of the day I'm just glad I'm not watching these fights on some dodgy internet feed.

This inst the first time, they did this with the Witter Ndou fight and started in round 4. Setanta really needs to sort this out because while they have the best coverage at the moment they cant get away with showing parts of fights

P4P the best pundit in the world according to the presenter:think
By the way Buncey who is that squeaky American commentator. First heard him on the Pavlik-JT rematch. I don't think his effeminate voice fits in very well in the macho world of boxing. Though to be fair to him he seemed knowledgeable.

I expect them for £14 per month.

Damn you are tight lol
£14, seriously, these days that is nothing. Not even a round of drinks.
The PPV last night was $60 in the states. That doesn't get you the football etc either...

 Maybe. Just seemed after signing up for £10 per month, lumping an extra £4 on top was a bit much.

Hold on, let me backtrack ;)
When did they do that the bastįrds? I didn't really pay attention to the £14 bit hehe
I've been meaning to ring Virgin and complain because my bill overall has crept up £20-30 a month for no apparent reason - I did call a few weeks ago but the operative hung up on me when she couldn't explain
I can feel a 'I'm going to Sky' threat brewing
Hopefully they don't know I'm stuck with cable, because my wife won't let me put a dish on the front of the house !!

About a month back.
I asked to cancel about 4 months back and took them up on their offer of 3 months for £5. So paying £14 now fucks me off. I want to cancel but with fights like Cotto - Magarito coming up I can't go through with it.

No it didn't it started right at the end of the first round/start of the 2nd.
Regardless, If we're the paying customer we should not be missing any rounds whatsoever.

Well done on those comments last night. It was good to hear Joe Cortez ripped the way he was.

Maybe cant really remember which round to be precise I missed 2/3 rounds, and the time Jones Jr Ruiz fight was on they forgot to send me the signal for the fight and was on the phone to them till 2 trying to get it sorted.
I was thinking about rejoining as they do have the best coverage at the moment and got a decent package of sports but it seems they still havent sorted the time schedule yet.
Can anybody tell me if they charge a connection fee and do they charge for a month or 2 months?

You're right. Setanta relly need to start their coverage alongside the USA coverage or eles they're always going to play catch up and it's us, the paying viewers, who miss out.
But can't remember Witter ever fighting Ndou on Setanta ... that was BBC if anywhere .. and before setanta's time. Also was Jones v Ruiz on Setanta. Can't blame them for everything? If i'm wrong apologies.
