Otherwise I can't find any consistency in their arguments.
How can they ban cycling and go on with Sauerlands Events? Sauerland was deeply involved in the IBF-affair revealed by Beavers. Has he learned? The WBO rankings are obviously severely biased and who benefits? Sauerland.
Then you have the scoring which has been highly questionable over the years concerning Ottke, Beyer etc. One thing is the decisions, also the tv-reporters know the scorecards going into the final rounds. I have experienced several times that the commentator know the scoring. That's illegal.
Then there's the doping question. Several boxers has been caught and tested as intensely as riders in the tour it wouldn't look good.
So if you only want to give the viewers clean cut entertainment, ban boxing.

that's exactly what i thought about earlier today.

ard/zdf are deeply involved in a lot of suspicious shit but that doesn't make them stop pointing their fingers on others. a lot of ex-athletes who commentate events there consumed all kinds of suspect substances in the past which can be traced. also, they sponsored telekom in their most 'funky' years, and they will never have the balls to scale olympic or football events with the measure they just came up with. i always watched eurosport anyway, because the commentators not only seem far more competent, but also because they don't speak about how fucked up the sport is 90% of the time. once i switched to ard or zdf, don't remember, a few days ago because of commercials or something at eurosport, i witnessed something really strange: the ard/zdf-guys were shittalking about eurosport for employing virenque. phrases like "in our elitist-tour-de-france-commentating-circles eurosport's moves are highly debated, whether they may be on the dark side of the force or not..". ridiculous.

One thing is to ban cycling, but why aren't they consistent...

das erste ?

becaue IMO chinese athletes will be doped up to the eyeballs and athletes we will never have heard of in swimming and many other sports will win and then never be seen or heard of again.

but of course it will be covered.

Which is why they are hypocrites. At least the cycling community are trying hard to fight things.

Basso, Ulrich has been thrown out, Sinkevits the latest. At the moment they do everything they can to miscredit Rasmussen.

So you wouldn't regard the teams as part of the cycling community? Jesus, Tobkhan, try reading the posts.

Yep, they did. Itīs now shown by Sat1 or Pro7 because of that new doping cause.
Donīt know what that has to do with boxing but if it serves your agenda :nut

Yes, its shown on Sat.1 now. Verry poor BTW but the cycling is a verry poor shitty doping sport.
