I'm not a big better, but I lost $500 on Cotto-Judah.
When I saw the odds for that fight and Freitas-Diaz I thought about betting on both Frietas and Judah in a combined bet but on the second thought those odds looked to be right so I passed on it, good decision.
Do you ever bet against your fighter? Sometimes the odds are so tempting like Adamek being a 3.75 fav over Dawson and I felt Dawson would outpoint him so I placed some cash on him but I was still rooting for Adamek but it was a wierd feeling of being sad that my man lost and some satisfaction of winning cash.

$50 on Toney/Peter I. I bet on Toney and he got jobbed. I haven't bet since.
I wanted to bet on Pavlik for his fight against Miranda but I was broke. I was 95% sure he would beat Miranda.

Im a shit gambler because I never bet against the fighter I want to win, Id bet for Tyson over Klitsckho if the fight was next week! not because I think he would win but because I love the guy. :patsch

Hardly. A couple less low blows and a more disciplined fight and Judah could've cruised. The odds were good.

$400 on Freitas to beat Diaz
That's nothing man, I lost 1500$ on Freitas to beat Diaz. I don't know what happened, but it was a combination of being seduced by 2/1 odds, being a long fan of Freitas and underrating what Juan Diaz could do.
Though, I'd likely stick a bundle on Nate Campbell to beat Diaz however, which I'd be confident of winning.

Dude, I was at the fight. Believe me, Judah was not in contention. But that's not even the point. The point is - when have you ever know Judah to fight a disciplined fight? He's always a wild card. Making that bet was as good as throwing your money in the trash compactor. I mean the dude lost to Cory Spinks, for chrissakes, and blamed his Baldomir loss on Don King's promotional tour. Judah is too much of a wild card to ever place a bet on.

I hadn't thought about this for a long time. When I was in my 20s (about 100 years ago), I used to work out at a gym in Miami and bet a buck or two on the fights every week -- just for laughs.
I went almost a year without a loss, and word got around that I couldn't lose. The guys begged me to bet for them. I told them I didn't mind losing my money but I didn't wanna be responsible for theirs.
But, I kept winning, and they kept pushing me to bet for them. Finally, they had me believing I couldn't lose.
I picked out a 5-1 shot, and they got $3500 together. We all went to the Miami Beach Auditorium with the bookmaker.
You've already guessed result. I wasn't very popular at the gym.
