it seems my proposed fight with richard tutaki is a hot topic here at the moment, the fight was cancelled some time ago, it was originally seen as a way to get me a fight with paba heavyweight champion Dennis Bhaktov of Russia, a fight i would be motivated by and can take me somewhere other than another rsl fight for peanuts. A fight with Tutaki is a win for me but hardly a mismatch compared to most other oz fights at the moment.
I am interested in fighting Meehan, if any of the experts here can find a promoter that wants to put the fight on i am ready to go.
after convincingly beating former title challenger Ed MAhone,
[Only registered and activated users can see links] , my manager has been trying to secure another fight of international importance, it seems alot of people dont regard me highly, but make me the topic of conversation quite often, if I am of no importance then i deserve no print imo.
if anyone wants to ask me a question about who when ,why i am fighting feel free to pm me, you will save yourself alot of trivial discussion, as often alot of what gets talked about here is way out of date, wrong or just a piss take.

Dont read 2 much into it mate....just keep KO'ing the guys put in front of you.
Grab the regional belt and you should move up enough to get some better fights.
DONT KNOW WHAT WRONG WITH SOME OF THE GUYS ON HERE :patsch
Keep fighting and keep posting :good

I take it Mahone has not shown any signs of wanting a return? Might be a good way to get more rounds under your belt and would make good viewing (and therefore exposure) on Fox.

i think Mahone is back in America, he was Camerons sparring partner for the last few fights, for that fight i spent some time sparring pieter cronje and then over east to spar lawrence tuasa, good to get a proper preperation for a big fight.

We are all very keen to see aussie fighters taking on the bigger better fights and getting the win.
We all know with boxing you need to build up at a steady pace but we just want action.....did I mention we cant resist gossip?
We are a fickle bunch.

Haven't you heard????? They were Australia's leading boxing stable recognised for consistently producing world champions over and over again, universally known and respected, the envy of camps such as team Mayweather, Freddy Roach, Manny Stewart, Enzo etc etc BUT NOW since their recent phenominal success they have reached even greater heights catching the eye of the CIA who have requested their involvement in the training elite force counter-intelligence units with the hope of aborting major terrorists plans to blow up the world.
I'd jump on board if i were you Mark:deal

i have a rib injury from the mahone fight that has not gone away, tutaki was seen as the cheapest fighter in the paba top 15 to get the title, then go after bhaktov in russia.

It's a tough one and arguements can be made for either fighter. I personally favour Hagler by a fraction, but wouldn't be uptight if anyone had it different. Ray Robinson was great at 160, although his best years were at Welter.
The division has seen some greats through the years. Stanley Ketchel would be up there, Harry Greb, Mickey Walker, Tommy Ryan etc etc.
Who would you favour?

Not being smart.. but PerthKronk, I'd be interested to hear a bit about your stable to.
Also I take it Adam Forsyth is there - Im not going to lie and pretend I know alot about him, I dont.. but if this lad was knocked out by a far from heavyhanded Brad Pitt, surely there will be question marks over his chin? Especially as an amatuer heavy, if he steps up and fights the big boys at 100kg+ and doesnt stay a Cruiser.

Can't split them career wise but I would rather watch Hagler any day of the week. Monzon's fighting style to me was a bit bland. I can't seem to appreciate all his nuances as much as some.
Got to give Monzon some credit for all his success in conjunction with the type of life he led. Didn't he win titles with a bullet lodged in him somewhere? I think he loved a smoke as well?

Whats DYOR?
Why can't you answer a simple question about who is fighting on the Kronk team?
Why did you rip off another, more famouser gyms name and appropriate for yourself?
Why didn't you answer any of the querys about outed Kronk boxer Adam Forsyth and his contests against Brad Pitt?
Where is your gym situated?
How would a promising young up and comer get in contact with Kronk?
Who would his trainers be?
That'll do for now, I fear this post will ultimately resemble my Danny Green press conference effort.
The only harsh words here have come from Perth, which as i understand it is where you are from as well. I get the feeling there must be a bit of rivalry going on between yourself and other local fighters/promoters.
I wouldn't take it to heart. Good luck in the future, Meehan would be a very very tough opponent.
Don't throw yourself in the deep end too quickly. Would be great to see you build things up steadily. Your in no rush, still quite young as a heavyweight.
DYOR = Do Your Own Research btw...

Nathan Briggs & Alex Leapai need decent opponents.
Why not step up Mark & face Nathan or have a rematch with Leapai???:think
Any top 10 Aussie heavyweight would face you...yet u aint fought any yet...besides drawing with Leapai on his pro debut??

The win over Ed Mahone... a little bit helped.
He is the type of Aussie boxer that dissapoints me his opponents until Mahone have been basically woeful whether u like it or not.
I wonder how shot Mahone was to be honest.
I hope he steps up then he has some respect from me.:deal

As much as mark thinks we want him to get beaten thats not the case this forum isnt people with no boxing knowledge who go to fights see an aponant overwhelm someone and think his the next champion of the world.
Step up and not only prove to the public but step up and prove to yourself that you can mix it with the big boys!
