Interesting fight...the battle of the left hooks. I say Cooney KO 2, but the reverse result is quite possible too.

Morrison had the faster hands but was less durable. I would go with Cooney by KO.

Cooney had the better chin, better boxing ability and better defense so i am leaning towards him in this match up. This is one of those situations where who hits who first. If Morrison got there early, then he could make somthing happen but he is at too many disadvantages. Morrison wasn't defensive so that would me Cooney's chances even better. I see this fight turning out similar to the way Morrison/Mercer happened. Morrison would have his moments early, but i see Cooney ralling back and stopping a fadded Morrison in the mid rounds. It would be fn while it lasted though.

An early round knockout seems almost inevitable here, with either man being perfectly capable of doing it. If these two guys fought 10 times, I wouldn't be surprised if the outcome was 5-5 each.

morrison is too much of a ladies man. his legs would never withstand the awesome attack of gentleman gerry and his chin is made of the finest china that can be found.
