Anyone know anything about this Swansea boxer - anyone see him fight?

He was British Heavyweight Champion in the 1970's?

What part of Swansea was he from?

When I started delivering furniture for the council a couple of years back my new work mates had recently been to his flat to give him his furniture pack. One of the items was missing so the boys told him they would deliver it as soon as they had more in stock.

Meade then threatened one of the boys and said he wanted it ASAP. The labourer Meade threatened told me that when they returned a couple of days later he didn't go in as he was a bit intimidated and thought Meade was an arsehole.

Meade was very average at best...he was KO'ed that many times that he had handles stitched into his shorts so it would be easier for his corner to carry him out of the ring. Anyone who was KTFO by Richard Dunn must have questionable ability.
