Assuming they fought at their peaks, Golota would have beaten Schultz handily. It would have gone ten rounds with Golota winning the decision by a comfortable margin. Schultz would be tough and he'd have his moments, but overall Golota's superior talent, skill, size and jab would pound out the win.

By the way, Schultz was never regardard as a "powerhouse" heavyweight. He was rugged, but he was never known for big power or notable strength.

sorry, i guess i was going of on a limb seeing him on t.v. the first time yesterday. he looked like a big guy.

Schulz was very durable and technically good, but lacked power a bit and while he always gave his best, he seemed to miss that "extra bit" to make it into championship or more than brief contendership. He should've gotten the verdict against old Foreman, however.

As for this matchup, i agree with Kenmore. Golota probably outboxes him to a UD.

Schulz might be able to get something accomplished late... That guy was unbelievably tough. Lot of willpower there.
