jeff harding
If you mean aussie hitman harding than i totally agree.Though he was a great fighter and one tough bugger,
He was his own worst enemy as he gave into the temptation of alcohol.
He has since hocked his championship belts for money to fuel his habits which is extremely sad..
He was a true aussiebattler, hard as nails..
What about his comeback against dennis andries in vegas??I was reading jeff fenechs book a few years back and he said mike tyson and himself were ringside and mike was saying its all over for harding but fenech knew how much heart harding had and said jeff will pull threw.
The rest is history.....Harding stopped him.....yeah baby..

Josh Clottey is pretty damn good with out a band wagon of any type.
Andy Lee will soon have a big band wagon IMO.
Kermit Cintron is hardly listed on any favorite fighter lists.
Corrie Spinks (must be his style)
Zab Judah (yeah he lost a couple of big ones but still upper tier IMO)
JCC JR. has been winning (compared to Dad though)
The One great fighter gets no love from 90% of boxing fans = FMJ

I loved the choice of McCallum, he is imo the greatest 154 lber in boxing history.
I'll nominate Virgil Hill.

Michael Spinks gets remembered too much for lasting 91 seconds against Mike Tyson, and not for being an ATG, and arguably the best fighter of the 80s.
He was not only one of the greatest light-heavyweights of all-time, but also the linear HW champion, and an extremely versatile and adaptable fighter.

Terrible Terry Norris & Ricardo El Finto Lopez are two the come to mind. Especially Lopez probably the most underrated fighter of the last 25 years.

joel casamayor by a long shot.
2 wieght champion lineal lightwieght got totally robbed of his belts for no reason by the wbc and later the wba didnt give it to him anyways.
great skills ,very slick , amazing jab nice combo's can brawl when he wants it...and cuban :smoke
i dont know why people underated him SO much he is brushed under the carpet like nobodies business

damned, i wanted to name him and iīm serious about him. 21 title defences and unification of two titles should show you that he wasnīt a joke. He had an ugly style but had great footwork, good timing, great judging of distance and great ring generalship. He got a gift against Reid and had some close fights but he getīs trashed way to much for it. How many gifts got DLH for example?:think i kinda understand it has to make a good fighter to do that...im not convinced but this is very convincing :good great post
not atg or incredible but had skills that are hard to have and thats a natural boxer instinct

Iran Barkley was phenominal in his prime. Never really gets mentioned.true he diodnt hit hard for his style which was a shame becuase his style was so peculier a strangly tall middlewieght that seemed to not stop punching

Hate to do it but gotta go with De La Hoya. He fights the best and has gotten flat out robbed twice in mega fights. Better resume than many top 10 p4p'ers IMO. Im not sure anyone on this board gets hated on as much as DLH.

Kid Gavialn I think I read in the classic section he was 111-4 dont know if thats true though.
Gene Tunney
sorry about this but Roberto Clemente one of the all time great Baseball players and Humanitarians doesnt get the accolades he deserves considering what he faced and overcame in his day. They should have his #21 retired on all Major league teams........sorry guys just had to let that out.....

I think he was on his way to become a sensational boxer, too bad his health didnt see it that way. He had speed, height, power, never been KO'ed, lost once by leaving although up by points, and lost due to a decision by a doctor while also being on points. Im glad to see him coming back, and I think he will do some damage in the HW division if his health permits for a little more longer.
