The Harrison vs Rogan card has been cancelled due to tv scheduling, ****** has lost his biggest name in Calzaghe, and now hes 2 biggest name fighters left, Arthur and Khan are going to fight on another channel. ****** was pissed about Haye signing an exclusive deal with them. Theres no ****** fights scheduled for Setanta.
Could they have fallen out.

TV scheduling was the 'official reason' - I've heard it was cancelled because of VERY poor ticket sales.

yeh there was no way they were gonna sell 10,000 tickets. Harrison and Macceranelli are not that popular (macca outside wales)
i reckon it could move to Belfast.

Maccarinelli will never be that popular - people now know him for the fraud that he really is. A typical Sports Network WBO chump spoonfed a world title before being exposed :deal
I wonder if Amir Khan will follow the same route - I would rather him win jack shit than make endless meaningless defences of a title which only very few actually recognise.

Yeah Belfast or Cardiff would seem likely.

FW always puts on mismatch and WBU/WBO title fights. No wonder every TV channel he's worked with had got fed up.

The fact that Setanta have dared sign fights from other promoters may have upset our Frankie a little
Why would Setanta want to deal with ****** now that Calzaghe's gone? Khan is with Itv and he's not going far, there's nothing in it for Setanta, ****** should stay with Itv.

I can sort of understand Cardiff, but why Belfast?

Sorry to break the bad news to you guys, & its bad news for me aswell.
Looks like ****** cards are going to be on a PPV internet channel, which is ******s of course.
In other words, we will ony be able to access ****** bills on his own internet PPV channel...
Dont quote me on it yet though. I have been fishing, & this is my only catch so far.

I'll never give him money, not even to see Khan get beat.

I dunno if it's cos of ticket sales. Macca was selling 5,000 tickets his early days. Its one of the reasons ****** looked after him cos he knew he could sell. Theres a fight on youtube against a bum and you'll hear the commentator talk about it.

The Irish will pack the house out to see a bit of sport. Remember when Wimbledon FC wanted to move to the Republic ?

You can't help but notice it.
The youtube video from a couple of months ago with McGuigan and Bunce tearing into Audley Harrison is great TV.

yeh I have noticed it to.
I think the fact ****** forced Guzman vs Arthur to cancel aswell was a big deal.
If ****** goes to PPV it will be the end of him, all his fighters need tv audiences. I know its 2008 but people still wont watch stuff in the web.

I think there has to be TV. Can't see him taking his fights to Internet PPV only. Setanta are supposed to have exclusive access to Sports Network fights. Broadcaster not promoter calling the shots. Isn't ****** thinking of doing something outside the SN banner, or something, as a "way out" technicality?
****** actually has a business called the Queensbury Fight Network, but I thought this was to show older fights.
Obviously, Setanta bringing in fighters like Haye has upset ****** recently.
Internet is for obscure Don King cards.

If that's the case then FW won't be making much dosh IMO. I honestly can't imagine fight fans wanting to stump up yet more money to watch his bills on a PPV channel. Surely even Channel 5 is a better option - keeps it mainstream in a terrestrial kinda way and isn't boxing easy airtime for TV companies (fewer cameras, easy links, no weather problems etc)?

No way.
