not sure this happens, but on fightnews there is talk about an eliminator for the wbc belt between ebu champ sugar jackson and the south african hlatshwayo.

so that would mean jackson couldnt oblige his mandatory zavek, leaving the belt vacant.

this would lead to zavek, the official challenger vs ebu number one senchenko.

this would be a very interesting fight between two well schooled and undefeated fighters.

i like senchenko, i think he could actually compete at world level.

From what ive seen of Senchenko ive been impressed, he's not getting younger so needs to start mixing it at world level soon .. i heard he gassed a bit in his last fight though ...

i like senchenko, i think he could actually compete at world level.

Zavek is a good decent boxer who doesnt really excel in no department.
Senchenko is just a little bit better in almost all departments.

By the way Zaveck truly needs a big fight very soon. He has been fighting one decent fighter after another but he hasnt fought a single name with a really good reputation up to now. Time to step it up! Otherwise Zaveck will lose his drive and his desire.
The same can be said- to a lesser degree though-about Senchenko.
