Would it be too greedy to ask for it to be on the JC-Kessler bill?

I'd go along with that!

I always liked Reid, since following him from the Barcelona Olympics, but he's looked well on the slide in recent years. Have to think Froch would get the W...but at this stage of Froch's career, it's a valuable fight to have.

Ried looked terrible aginst Lacy and even Brinkly in his last fight

Of course Froch is going to beat Reid, Robin was a fantastic and underrated fighter in his best days, but they were a couple of years back now.

Here's what will happen, Froch will beat Reid up and stop him in the later rounds and he will come out with "Calzaghe barely beat him, and i just stopped. Im the best SMW in Britian!". BS, Calzaghe faced prime Reid whereas Froch beat a shot Reid.

Yeh pretty much. Mayweather faced prime Castillo, i still think Hatton did well to handle him so quickly even if his best days were behind him. But you can't really compare the 2, however i do think Castillo was unlucky not to get the decision over PBF in the first fight..

Reid will get battered and Froch should be pursuing better fights. I've heard there's a Welsh bloke who's highly regarded at SMW.

i think its time for Froch to look abroad for some oponents. beating the likes of Dodspn and Ried mean nothing on the World stage. i in fcat beleibe Rob Ried to be a step back from Tatesovyan.

his ideal oponent would be Inkin for the EBU title...where is Froch ranked in the European ratings by the way.

I want Froch to have this fight because Reid is the last 168 fightert to stand in his path. The fact Adamu is his mandatory again shows there ain't much left in the Commonwealth. That leaves domestic where he has nearly cleaned up. If all else fails - Carl can tell his kids that he did clear house domestically (obviously not including Joe).

I'd like to see him fight Inkin or someone in an eliminator after that and then get brutalised by the Calzaghe-Kessler winner.

Froch-Reid could be brutal. Reid has slid. Froch may not put his punches together like Lacy and thus drag out a beat down on the tough Reid.

i thought he was vacating the commonwealth?

i think he'll still fight reid, and hopefully it will be on an amir khan undercard so it'll be shown on itv. i think calzaghe-kessler and (hopefully) macca-cunningham is enough for the november show!

btw, i saw robin reid in the trafford centre a few weeks ago. he was checking his reflection in a shop window.
