I have heard about Greenberg and have spoken to a few people who has seen him fight, They have all said that he has potential. I see that he is fighting A Cedric Boswell 27-1 only loss to Jameel Mcline. Does anyone thnk that Greenberg will fight tougher people if he wins this one? Greenberg is 24 I think.

Greenburg has absolutely no potential at world class even given the dire state of the heavyweights at the moment. He'll get beaten as soon as he steps up in class.

Problem is he's progressing very slowly, and also fighting in a very lacklustre "just do enough to win the rounds" kind of way. He's not giving people a reason to get enthused about him.

And Greenberg vs Julius Francis is still one of the worst fights I have ever, ever seen.

Saying he has potential is like saying Juilus Francis was an ATG. Greenberg is a big fat plodder. He is 2000000000000000000000000000000000% boring to watch.

Roman Greenburg is not even worthy of the current British Heavyweight merry-go-round. Like other so called prospects, he fights moderate opposition, but he doesn't have the good grace to look good doing it.

Audley is in a league above this guy, and that's really saying something.

Greenberg has no chance against top flight fighters. Only if he drastically changed i.e. improved his game, came in much better shape, had impressive intangiables etc

It's a joke he is talked about. This guys been going nowhere since forever.

Why does he fight in the states alot and he gets publicity here?

Minto

He can go to the Pullman Park and fight Minto. Minto will fight around this date. Would be a nice fight.

Colin Hart was fired by Eurosport for saying he isn't any good, so someone must think he is brilliant.

He just has a padded record, and makes John Ruiz look like Nigel Benn in terms of entertainment factor.

Personally I think Harrison, Sprott, Skelton, Williams and that ilk would end any aspirations of Greenberg making a name for himself at heavyweight.

Very boring to watch. Plods forward and just does enough to win rounds. He has shown little or no real improvement and after ALL his fights he has done fuck all to show he can even compete with the top British fighters, let alone on the European or World stage.

The guys not even worthy of a WBF, WBU HW title shot.

He's a Jewish heavyweight, which is very rare these days. The PR guys love an angle....

Greenberg is not too hot but I still think he could beat the likes of Williams and Sprott. The Minto fight was a good shout. Minto looked ok a week or two back and is a fringe fighter.

His lazy, thinks his a real cute fighter in the ring, has no sense of urgency and in all honesty could probably make 200lbs at a push. His been brought along incredibly slowly and has fought no one of any note. His not even part of the domestic merry go round. His not eligble for any of the domestic titles but he could certainly at least get a domestic name on his ledger. His handlers are a farce. As soon as he steps up he`s going to get blown away. I for one wont miss him.

I remember Buncey saying that a record can be anything you wanted it to be, when taking the piss out of the Dane chump who was served up alongside tomato & basil soup for Amir Khan

You should be shot for suggesting that Greenberg could beat Williams, and hinting that a Minto fight would be competitive.

Greenberg is underrated. I think he'll be a world champion, and not just of the WBU/IBO variety.

Both are very poor and a Minto fight would be interesting if they ever decided to move him up in class abit.

The only future star I see in Greenberg is on his trunks .

He's got quick hands and is decent enough skill wise but he is extremely passive in fights and doesn't seem to really have the heart for boxing .

He's been a pro almost 7 years and still only laboured to a 78-74 win on points against a past it Colin Kenna .

It will have been 10 months since he steps into the ring when he fights on August 22 . Why should a prospect who has never fought anyone decent be out of the ring for 10 months ?

He's spent too long fighting scrubs and in truth that's probably going to take away any remote chance he had of being a succesful heavyweight .

You'll see. You are extremely foolish to write off a man with his pedigree

As Angelo Dundee once said, "Greenberg has the fastest hands since Ali" :yep

Yup he did, Sweet D had him in his corner for one of his big fights and it made no difference.

Good old Herbie is/was certainly good value at press calls and conferences. Any table in the vicinity was always in danger of being tipped.....I definately think that there is a wire loose in there somewhere. FM, wrong thread :patsch
