Andrei Arlovski fight (Video)

Awesome fight, so exciting. The old Arlovski is back.
And give a hand to Rothwell, hes a tough SOB, he took a barrage of knees kicks and punches that would have layed out most other heavies. He's got guts.

Now I want to see AA and Fedor fight.

This was a good fight - with both men giving their all. Arlovski seems back in form and Rothwell gave a very good account of himself.

Arlovski looked great with his striking. Even mixing the kicks and that nice knee in there. He was throwing all of the right punches at the right times. His follow-up uppercut was devastating.

While I of course was also impressed with AA's standing demolition of Rothwell, I also thought there was a big negative that was sympotmtic of AA's psychological erraticness: half way through round two he in a weak Rothwell guard and pounding the hell out of his melon, yet decides to suddenly abandon ship and switch to a low percentage, badly executed ankle lock, and predictably ended up on his back taking a bit of a pounding himself.

So, while overall he looked impressive against the overmatched Rothwell (and its obvious he was) - there wasnt imo the ruthless desire to win that AA's needs to make the most of his freakish ability.
