And whats wrong with that?? Back in the days of 45 round fights, they wore thongs, that was pretty common, When the legs got tired, they would yank the thong up the butt cheeks so to put some snap back in the legs. Not sure if it work. But it was common to see it.

Yeah, those rather obscene looking trunks were not uncommon back then from what I understand, but Corbett is probably the most famous fighter who wore them regularly - at least that I'm aware of.

Interesting clip. I'm reading a book about Corbett by Adam Pollack, so it's quite interesting to see him in action. Looks to me like there was quite a bit of holding in this fight, and that Fitzsimmons was the aggressor through much of the match - at least based on these clips.
