Right all you wannabe flapjacks.....
It is time we discussed the biggest huggers of British fighters. From memory, I see it as follows....
Hatton - Sleazenation
Witter - Mike
Khan - Robpalmer
Calzaghe - ???
Haye - Too many to mention
Murray - Elle
Froch - ???
Any advance on those.....
TFFP for Calzaghe. You can count me amongst the Haye huggers :D.
Froch - The Cobra
Kell Brook - Elle :hey:huh

Aye, Khan;
Robpalmer
faisal

A few others are randomly getting high on him bizarrely after a win over Michael Gomez. Jeff and dan-b for example, but not in the hugging league of the aforementioned.

You've got to put the Buncey nut huggers on here too. Its been awful at times. I'll be honest- I love the fact that Bunce posts on here and because of that I no longer think of him as a cunt. I despised his presenting style and his almost arrogant attitude in front of a camera. But he's developed excellently into a say it (almost) how it is pundit. I've always said his writings really good. Theres my take anyway but some bunce nut huggery has been pretty embarassing - especially the twin the other night. lol.

The other 20% of his time is taken up by nuthugging Hatton and searching for anti-Hatton comments which he then replies to.
Oh and mustn't forget he has posted Manny Pacquiou's stats about a thousand times to emphasise that Hatton is a little fella.

How about you bring up all these hate threads you talk about big mouth. When I began, I made two about actual KO ratios... one was about Joes KO ratio. Perhaps I should have made just one thread... apart from that... I've made many threads about Calzaghe (he's a British boxer), but none of them are hate; unlike some of the mindless ones you have started, and everyone on here are more then aware about.

I'd have to admit i'm a bit of a Haye hugger, but choose to keep it quieter than some until I can start gloatiing when he unifies the division. Yahurd.
Also, unlike 99% of his current fans who jumped the bandwagon in the last year, Ive been following him for close to five years now, and became aware of him from his amatuer days, so its an acceptable huggery ;)

Well there are numerous Calzaghe threads on the first page of your profile. Had a quick scan and this one made me laugh the most.
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
You are not even nearly as subtle as you think. You say you don't abuse Calzaghe - "Slapper, Calfaggi etc" but of the many who do abuse him, off the top of my head I can't put a name to one of them. But you instantly spring to mind as a hater.

Yes I immediately deleted that thread (if you look it says please delete) because I thought it was a crap Idea for a thread - and a bit like another at the time (about Glen Johnson, and Woods) - I thought it unfair on Joe. The question being asked was hardly one of hate anyway.
One deleted, non hating thread by myself, in nine months, is the best you can do.

As I say, people please look through all my threads, there are only 3 pages. There is no real hate there; perhaps probing questions of Calzaghe at times, but no real hate threads.
We don't want to hear about your probing. What happens between you and Ricky should stay private.

I dont know what is classed as a "Hugger" - but I don't like the sound of it - I hope I am not one.
Colin Jones is a local fighter who learnt his trade at the gym behind my back garden - I see Jones around all the time - I seen him yesterday as it happens - so it's obvious he is a influence - a local fighter.
Same with Enzo Maccarenelli - from Swansea - current active fighter - fighting the likes of Undisputed Champion David Haye - local fighter so there is extra interest there
both are Swansea fighters
but I hope just for having a extra interest in certain fighters I am not classed as a hugger

Colin started training at the gym behind my back garden when he was 8/9 years old
local trainer Gareth Bevan trained him until he was 18 then he turned pro with Eddie Thomas and trained up in Merthyr but still trained throughout his pro career at the gym behind my back garden
he retired in 1985 after Don Curry stopped him - but Colin now runs the gym behind my back garden as a trainer for local youngsters
my avatar photo shows a young Colin Jones in that gym

Old school pisses me off. A guy looked at my CDs and saw the first Wu-Tang album and said I was OS. I asked him to leave immediately. 'Your OS dude!'..... You should have struck him.

Err...
If Tyson was still boxing, and in his prime right now; my posts may well be filled with unwarranted huggery. I still make the odd post about him that defies any rational.
What, like him being a top 10 heavyweight of all-time?

Nah, I just think a prime Tyson could beat absolutely anyone on his day.
I stopped up for those 3am Tyson fights as a small kid, and at the time he just seemed indestructible, he was the "baddest man on the planet."
I may put forward objective arguments for others, but in my heart of hearts, I still think (prime) he beats any other heavy weight ever; in a match up. That's perhaps huggery...

Not that much. The true self-respecting sackswingers of Tyson think he's a top 10 ATG overall, when his resume was not worthy by a long shot
H2H he was a beast.
