Cotto V Margo, UK betting.

What are the chances of Margo winning, he's 12/5. Put a tenner on him and you win 24 quid plus your tenner back. Stick a tenner on Cotto, you get £4.50, plus your stake back. Can Margo cause an upset, realistically?

Margo is a biggish outsider; Is Cotto possibly over hyped - or is the fight just a formality?

Margo could easily get an early KO, he has the strength and power to do so, so its not a lost cause. I think that the bookies are more or less right though.

I've put a little bit on a Cotto win. It's the only bet that looks any good to me.

I put £7.50 on Margarito to win by stoppage between 4-6, and £7.50 on him to stop him between 7-9. Odds of 14-1 and 16-1.
Got the wrong bastard round though.

had a tenner on cotto to win by ud, and a tenner on margarito to win by ko. figured that if cotto could keep margarito at bay, his superior boxing skills would earn him a UD, while if margarito was gonna win it was pretty likely to be by KO.

though looking at the scorecards i was only a round away from winning fuck all.

won about £50 in the end.

I won £101.46 on Margarito. Split bet on winning fight, and nearly 6-1 on him winning by KO.

Come on, 6-1 on him winning by KO was a gift! :thumbsup

got 5.9 on margarito by ko. and 2.2 on cotto by decision.

would've got better on the margarito ko if i'd bet earlier, but waited to see if the odds went up or not, sadly they went down.

Made me laugh when Steve fatty Bunce said nobody thought Margarito would win I'm sitting there thinking yes idiot I got 6's on betfair for Margarito by stoppage and am checking my betfair account to look at my winnings!
