Yeah, pretty solid card so far. EliteXC is so much better without Kimbo Slice.

Diaz spent the first two minutes eating punches and Muay Thai knees from a guy literally half his size. The fact he would win was a foregone conclusion. I'm surprised how bad he looked in the beginning. Then again, his standup has never been pinpoint accurate...even when he's teeing off on a very game tomato can.

You knew he would win but he did it in ugly fashion. His stand up is horrific.

No, but I wouldn't mind seeing him beat the hell out of Kimbo Slice.

Cyborg certainly took advantage of Brazil's lax (or nonexistant) drug testing at some point in her past. She's got enough testosterone in that body to grow a seven foot mustache.

Silva vs Kimbo could be fun but Fedor rips off Silva's head. Cyborg is one badass chick. She might be the one to dethrone Carano but Carano us fucking hott as hell. Cyborg has 100% killer instinct and threw some nice straight punches.

Yeah, if this was a lingerie pillow fight, Carano would win hands down. But in an actual MMA fight, Cyborg will put up a hell of a fight. She's strong and aggressive, and I'm not sure Gina has had someone come at her like that. Most of her opponents fight timid, like Tyson's early opponents. If Cyborg comes at her hard, Carano will have to adjust. How well she adjusts is going to determine the outcome, I think.

Carano has more accurate striking, and at least some semblance of a ground game, so she's got the advantage on paper. But there's something to be said for an aggressive, confident opponent.

You rest on the fence... you rest on the stool.

I have no clue what Smith was doing there... other than letting Lawler have free reign at his ribs, that is.

The only explanation I have, is that he was waiting for Lawler to punch himself out so he could steal the rest of the round - which is fine, if you have any sense of how to defend yourself for the duration.

Not a great gameplan by Smith. He's been hurt to the body in several fights, and hanging out on the fence eating knees to the ribs is downright silly. I honestly think he would have stopped Lawler if the two kept exchanging away from the fence.

His boxing is below that of a journeyman. Its useless. The kid doesnt even know how to move his head.

Diaz still makes for entertaining fights and he's still a douchebag. As long as he keeps those 2 qualities intact I'm a fan.

:good I would pay top dollar to see this event.

Who ever Kimbo has as a opponent in the future I believe in the next 3 fights he will lose at least 1 time....
Going down down down.

Just does not have the polished skills to be a top fighter in the MMA.

So is Kimbo for sure facing Rogers in Oct? There was also talk of him fighting Neil Grove from Cage Rage. I hope they throw Kimbo in with Rogers next, but I doubt it.
