View Full Version : Oscar Better Not F··K Up This Welter Division!!!
Looks like Oscar may fuck up what would be on of the greatest welter showdowns in years!!! :fire
He is eyeing Hatton. With the news that Cotto and Mosely are going to fight in November, a Hatton vs Floyd matchup around the same time would set up a fight between the winners that I desperately want to see.
But if Hatton has an opportunity to make twice the money with Oscar he is going to do it. FUCK!

Nonsense. Hatton, by his own admission, still prefers to fight Floyd Mayweather. Oscar de la Hoya has as much right as anyone to make any match he can and should not be held accountable for Hatton not fighting Floyd should it happen.

Oscar will be a big thread at Welter, what you guys mean hes gonna f*ck something up?

Bullshit. Economics 101 says his ass will be in a ring with Oscar, mark my words. :deal
By his own admission= PR to not lose his credibility while trying to scratch a deal with GBP.
Edit: And yes he SHOULD be held accountable. He wont fight Floyd if he wins, and nobody wants to see it. On the other hand, Mosely or Cotto will fight Floyd.

Oscar fights one time a year. He is barely a boxer anymore.
There are live dogs at welter who stay busier and are actually trying to define legacies and clean out the division. Mosely vs. Cotto winner taking on PBF vs. Hatton winner defines legacies, makes great fights, answers questions and leaves no doubts.
Do you really want to wait 8 fucking months to hear what Oscar is going to do if he fights Hatton and wins, just to find out that Oscar will retire or fight Tito again and leave the welters hanging?

Hatton and his team may see that DLH's talk of moving back to 147 is just talk, and that he'd have to go up to 154 or a catchweight of 151-52 or something.
Better for them to take the Mayweather fight.

OK, lets go over a few things here.
1. Oscar isnt man enough to avenge his loss to Tito. He knows what Papa Trinidad and Don's absolute demands are, and that Tito is ready willing and able to embarrass him again....at 160.
2. Oscar wont fight again in 2007. He would have already signed for a rematch with PBF if he had any pride or manhood. He was more than satisfied with the financial aspects of Cinco de Mayweather Weekend.
3. Oscar wants to wait until May of 2008 to take on the guy who looks best after all is said and done, Cotto, or Hatton. He wont take on Sugar or Floyd because of their race, and you can quote me on that. And we all know why!:good
:patsch :patsch :patsch :patsch :patsch :patsch

:think
Did you miss the first two fights?

Then again, what the fuck do you know, ****** Timberlake? Nobody cares about your gay opinion.
That being said, I dont know why everyone is freaking out. Oscar fights once a year, for the big Cinco de Mayweather Weekend. He has too much on the plate to train for more than that as a Husband, Daddy, and CEO of GBP. (Not to mention 8am Tee Times at Pebble Beach.)
OScar will choose an opponent, Cotto, Hatton, or Floyd in December, that will give him 2 months to Promo the fight, and almost 3 to train.
he isnt the CEO. he's the president.
how can oscar fuck up the ww division,..??
everytime he stepped up to the elite, he wasnt good enough.. to qoute jim carey.. looohooseehherr:yep
maybe his best chance is fighting that midgit hatton..:yep
You answered your own question. He can fuck it up if the lure of the money to fight him draws in the younger, hungried fighters in the division.

I would rather see Hatton-Mayweather than Hatton-De La Hoya

Haha, this the most ridiculous post ive seen, Ever!:yep
the Gatti blowout was the last time DLH even made welter, and that was 5-6 years ago...i don't think DLH will be a threat at 147...he will fight at catchweights or 154...
