I am surprised that you don't hear every other day how this or that boxer has been caught/is under suspicion. Why? Do they just not get tested? And if so, is it because so many of the top boxers are doping and it would be the end of the sport if the big names were kicked off the circuit? Or is it that they simply don't dope? That WOULD indeed be surprising!

They do get tested, and they do dope. However, no one seems to care. James Toney has been caught twice, Roy Jones has been caught, there's a big cloud of suspicion around Holyfield.

Don't they get suspended? For how long? Do they not get repeatedly tested after an offence? Are there no life-time bans?

Most of the suspensions are a joke. I think it's like 3 or 4 months. However, established boxers only fight every 3 or 4 months anyway. I believe repeat offenders get like year. I'm pretty sure they didn't suspend Jones when he got caught. They made up some bullshit excuse why they didn't.
