Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.

I'm going to have to go with the younger fresher Peter by UD.

This is Peter's "Flagship" fight. I am not convinced that Pete can maintain the punch combo's necessary to knock Oleg out. Kirk Johnson was beaten unmercifully by Oleg, when a careless left hook found its mark.
I think Pete's been hyped.
Oleg by Split.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there is no chance of that happening...

So Maskaev hits hard enough to make Sam do the lambada...???

KLIT's punches are on a whole other level...and he only momentarily wobbled Peter...didn't even last long enough for WLAD to take advantage of it...and it happened only once over the course of 12 rounds...

Sam can take OLEG's punches for the full 12 if he has to...but he won't, because OLEG won't be able to absorb the punishment Peter gives him.

Everybody knows that Klitchko was fighting scarred, he landed a few rights but Sam saw them comin, except maybe for that left hook in the 12th.

I know there is almost no chance of Maskaev winning this....but just give the old guy a break..., he was supposed to be done years ago and yet he came back and won that belt, and he did improve his defence alot, look he hasnt been knocked out in a while :bbb

The only way I see Oleg winning is if Peter comes in overweight and gets tierd in the later rounds, thats when Oleg can pull off a decision or put the Nightmare to sleep. Lets see what happens.

Peter's not fighting a 5'9 butterball. Oleg will give him a good go, I favour Peter but would like to Oleg pull this off

This is true.

However Oleg is also not James Toney. He won't give Sam his backside and won't roll and get under punches. Oleg has never fought any way other than chin straight up in the air and come in hard behind a jab.

That "5'9 butterball" :D can beat OLEG...Toney's chin is granite, his skill set is better, and he is a defensive genius...the main thing he lacks (aside from the obvious, physique) in the twilight of his career is footwork. That probably wouldn't be that much of a factor though...he didn't need to run against Holyfield or Peter, he wouldn't need to run vs. Maskaev. :smoke

Not to even forget that the only thing Kirk Johnson and Sam Peter have in common is that they're both black.

He was lucky to get the UD against his last Tomato Can and he couldn't get by Rachman on juice, the same Rachman Oleg KO'd twice.

Scam Cheater doesn't knock out top 10 guys. He hits them in the back of the head, they get stunned, and fall down and get right back up.

He knocks out complete bums.

Toney is not known for his level of dedication, nobody should be surpised he showed up like that to fight some tomato can ( I didn't see it, and don't know how much of a bum the guy was) ...not trying to justify it, but Toney is Toney.

Oleg just happens to have Rahman's number...I wouldn't read to deeply into that. If they fought 10 times OLEG would probably win all of them. If Maskaev and Rahman however, were to both take on the top ten tough contenders, I wouldn't be astonished if Rahman were to do much better against them. Just an opinion...not much to go by as they lack a commonality of opponents (unless getting your ass kicked by Tua is very significant, and of course the aforementioned Toney).

BTW, I don't think even the "Oceans 11" Lewis would have lost to OLEG...:smoke

No way. Even though Peter will beat Maskaev Toney would not. To even sugest the grossly over weight and grossly over rated steriod abuser would beat The Big O is beyond wishfull thinking. Toney would be stopped in a one sided beat down. Toney has been exposed every time he moved up to the top 20. Against Maskaev he gets ktfo.
