Sinan Samil Sam vacates his EBU Belt. Before Vidoz fight, Ahmet Oner announced that Sinan may face Valuev after beating Vidoz. Then he won with controversial decision. Now, he rejected a rematch against Vidoz so he relinquishes his tittle. Sam and Öner wat Valuev - Ruiz fight. After Valuev beating Ruiz (If it happens), Valuev and Sinan may face in the ring. It may be Valuev's voluntary defence.

Both Valuev and Ruiz would beat SSS with ease, he just isn´t at their level and he isn´t the rightful EBU beltholder.

I bet that's just Öner having a wet dream, at least I hope so. SSS should be as far away from a title shot as Öner from an IQ above room temperature.

If it did happen it would be a classic one sided beatdown courtesy of Kolya.

SSS is a fat boxer with a good chin and no skill. Valuev by murderous KO.

Feather fisted Vidoz beat the crap out of SSS inm their match....

Ridiculous. SSS is nowhere near championship level. There are many more athletes who deserve the challenge, e.g. Dimitrenko.

It might be a possibility Valuev is exploring for an easy voluntary defense later in the year before he heads to Chagaev, Wlad or Peter in 2009.

yes i think sss is far away from beein in good shape,
i talked with him and he said he just want's to make a few more bucks and that's it-
he's not training that seriously as he did in the past,
he has no more left in him he's empty,
think valuev by stoppage in the later rounds
(don't misunderstand me i like sss he's a friend o mine and a great personality and has a good heart too)

Sinan Samil Sam,eh???? I guess that Sam's promoter Oener must bring some really big bucks to the table in order to convince Valuev's promoter to accept a voluntary title defence against the limited Turk.
Besides word is out that the winner of Valuev vs Ruiz will probably face Wlad in a megafight. Wlad's management doesnt seem to come to terms with Povetkin's promoter. Povetkin's German promoter seems to think that he is the one who calls the shots.Valuev vs Wlad is big money-far more money than Wlad vs Povetkin or Sam vs Valuev.

Ahmet Oner does every jobs for his boxers. So. I can see that he offers good bucks to Sauerland for Sam is aganist Valuev. Sinan is nearly end of his career. He wants a pay-day which wil not come again. This fight may take place in December also this fight may be Istanbul,Turkey. IMO, If this fight (Valuev - Wlad) happens, it won't before Chagaev - Valuev. We do no forget Ruslan.

I somehow have the feeling that you seem to forget that it isnt Oener 's money which is put on the line but the money of the businessmen who are behind his box promotion. He is Sinan Samil*s friend and surely tries to get him big fights but his moneylender could have different plans,koray..
Sinan is no big draw in Germany. Why should those German businessmen spend tons of money on Sam just in order to provide him with the biggest fight of his career???

I just looked at my own belly and I am in slighty better shape than SSS, although I quit boxing two years ago. I am also more than sure I would lose against Vidoz like he did.. so why he is EBU champion and I am not?

The only good thing about the news is that SSS vacates the belt that he really never won. Still, even limited and past prime SSS would be one of the best better opponents on Valuev's resume.

Can't agree. He has wins over two former champions, and in Donald, Ruiz, Lyakhovich and Chagaev has faced much better opposition than SSS.

Admittedly I'd love to see him flatten Sinan.

I was not precise. When I said about his resume, I meant only opponents he faced and won - so Chagaev and Donald do not belong here (some say even win over Ruiz was questionable). I am also not sure Lyakowich is really that much better than SSS. Just because he won with Brewster (who fought much of the fight with retina problems) and Guinn?
