How close is this fight?

i really don't know this fight will turn out to be. well, i think the ref would be a big part in this. if he allows hatton to literally stay close to pbf, he'll have a shot. but if it's one of the refs who order a break at the very moment that hatton touches pbf, then it will be a blow out for pbf IMO

my thoughts too... the ref would be huge in that fight... i would like to see how pbf deals with the constant pressure...

I think it would be close for 3 or 4 rounds, until Mayweather figures Hatton out, and then Mayweather wins every round from there.

I dont think Hatton even wants the fight, I think he has his sights on DLH, who Id also pick to beat him by the way.

Hatton has never wanted to fight PBF he's ducked him for years because he knows he can't beat him.

Mayweather vs Hatton will never happen..... Hatton is looking for another old has-been to fight in England in November then hopes to fight old 35yr old DeLaHoya June 08

You're nothing but unoriginal spam, aren't you?

sho ya right :good too bad we'll never know cuz he was skurd

his face would have been TWICE as swollen as PW'S with two cuts eyes.

PW' is a real fighter..takes on tough challenges..unlike your girlfriend
So I guess in your world fighting Oscar at 154 for his first fight at that weight is less of a challenge than fighting a limited plooder in Margo.:patsch

Will be close and tough for both, I'm sure about that. Mayweather might stop Hatton late though by cuts or TKO.

I'm concerned about the recent reports of Cotto-Mosley being official or near official messing up the negotiations of Mayweather and Hatton.

If Mosley is going to fight Cotto, then Mayweather has less options for this fall/winter, and Hatton's team will try to demand more money. They can also use the possibility of a DLH-Hatton fight next year (which I have serious doubts about) as leverage for them to not need the Mayweather fight.

And Floyd's ego and greed will make it hard for them to come to terms if this happens.

Hopefully I am wrong.
