Source?
I'd rather see him face De La Hoya, Mayweather, or Malignaggi over any one of the guys listed, but out of them, I would like to see Hatton-Torres

This kinda crap is bull. Today I read that Frank ****** is thinking of having him fight some dude named Gavin Rees on the undercard of calsaghe kessler. Fucking rediculous...fight Mayweather or go fuck yourself.
And I'm a hatton fan!

RICKY HATTON’S next world title fight could be back on English soil, writes PAT SHEEHAN.
The light-welterweight champ, 28, must decide between Joel Casamayor, Ricardo Torres, David Diaz or Paul Spadafora for his November 10 bout.
There is a good chance The Hitman will fight in Manchester or London as a way of thanking his army of fans, many of who could not afford to travel to Las Vegas for his last two clashes.
Hatton also wants to meet Floyd Mayweather Jr but only if he gets the same pay packet as the Yank, who is demanding the bulk of any purse

I'm not sure where the David Diaz stuff is coming from. He's got a fight coming up shortly against Morales and who is to say he'll win that? If it meant Juan Diaz then that would be nice. But he obviously has a fight as well.
Neither Torres nor Casamayor would be a disgrace either.
Doesn't make sense. PAT SHEEHAN doesn't know shit.

Paulie SPADAFORA~!!?? Didn't he get in trouble again~?? did they mean Malignaggi~??
And who knows if Torres is going to win....
I guess Casamoyer would be a good name for him...

Guys, if Cotto-Mosely is a done deal for Nov 10 @MSG, it would be a complete loss of business sence to put Hatton vs PBF on that date (and we know it was pre-negotiated for THAT date).
Oscar is likely to fight on the next Cinco del Mayo - too large period of inactivity for Hatton.
We can assume Hatton-Malinaggi on that date at most, as Paul has fan base mostly in NYC, so the only place for the fight on that date is the undercard. Probably Hatton would accept to be on undercard... Such a huge event will be widely televised...
But if Hatton wants to show up looking forward for megafights, it would be a logical step to take a tune-up, so... Anything is possible

Isnt David Diaz fighting Erik Morales Next week for the WBC 135 title. if so i doubt he will be fighting in say November against Hatton at 140.
and Ricardo Torres has a fight with Kendall Holt in Sept in Columbia. so he wont be fighting Hatton in Nov either.
where does the Sun get there news on boxing from.South Londons Finest i think you should stop reading that paper.

If any of this is true it probably makes it more likely a Hatton-De La Hoya fight will happen next year. Makes sense Ricky wanting an easy hometown fight to give his loyal fans a proper goodbye before being led to the slaughteryou call Oscar Dela Hoya at 147 or 154 an easy fight for a small Hatton.
if he fights ODH thats it he will be beaten. he really struggles with guys that are bigger than him and Dela Hoya is huge compared to Hatton.
Hatton might get a huge pay day against Dela Hoya but he will lose.

Hatton has been fighting guys way past their sell by date for a loooong time, he's unlikely to start fighting good fighters in their prime years now.
he's ducked Witter for years........but might fight him once it's obvious Junior is shot. Count on that.
