I hope you're not referring to Mayweather, who has taken shots from Castillo, Corrales, Oscar De La Hoya and Zab Judah with ease, has never come close to quitting and is the best fighter on the planet....
Wait a minute, you just said Ricky Hatton has "well rounded skills", are you fucking serious? He's one of the most limited fighters short of heavyweight. Bull foward and flail, then tie-up......Well rounded my ass.

Hatton isn't skilled? He has great combinations, good head movement, good timing and competant boxing ability....
He's not unskilled like a Gatti type.

Just in his last couple fights.
No he only held in his last couple fights, but he has never been an accurate puncher with good solid combo's and good footwork. He's merley an aggressive pressure fighter who will get stopped the second he fights a slick boxer. (Much like he did when he lost to Collazo)

Not as bad as Gatti, but he still just bulls foward, flailing his arms, missing most of his shots.

Don't listen to Konphlic. He claims he could KO Hatton in a boxing match, despite having no boxing experience as an amateur or professional, for the following reasons: he outweighs Hatton by 20 pounds, and he has competed in breakdancing competitions :rofl

If he can get away with it then props to him. This fight is not going down on his home turf. Holding and hitting and getting away with it is not easy, and i consider it a skill like any other.
btw i guess im biased cause im a hopkins fan

In an an interview I read recently, Hatton's best friend is apparently been the medicine ball these past few months. He definitely needs to strenghten his midsection, according to Hatton; Urango was the toughest body puncher he had ever faced. Castillo is one of the best, so I hope Hatton has prepared as well as he says he has. Otherwise he may resort to holding on in the later rounds, if his body cant take the assault.

A certain Ricky Hatton!

I'd say Miguel Cotto is a more devastating body puncher then Ricky Hatton.

Heart?? He grabbed on for his life against Urango after he felt a little of Urangos power. And take a shot? Yea sure... He was out on his feet from the feather fists of Collazo lolol

Out on his feet?
Sure, he was wobbled by a combo after taking quite a few clean shots throughout the fight. Not even close to out on his feet
Funny that someone who professes to be a big Cotto fan continues to harp on Hatton getting buzzed by a Collazo combo when Cotto was fucked up a lot worse by one punch from Corley, who is a lighter hitter than Collazo is

I respect Hatton, but damn I hate his style. I mean, I like the going forward and brawling type, but that gets lost when he starts groping and hugging.
I'm really rooting for Castillo, and I think he has the tools to beat Hatton, but I have a bad feeling Castillo isn't going to be at 100% or be focused enough to win. He's going to make some money and I think that is the primary focus for him right now, so Hatton - unfortunately - is going to win. :(
After this fight, I'd like to get a shot at Hatton, but the thing is, He doesn't want to fight me. I'm bigger than him and I don't hug, so I would crush him - and he know's it.

Hatton is a mauling, sprawling, brawling bruiser kind of fighter. That's his game.
Personally I like it when there has been some method to his madness. The first thing I like to see is him working off the jab ala Magee. If he is going to come rushing in, at least do it like he did v Tszyu i.e. hands up, picking off shots.

Hatton will not be able to beat him if he didnt do 'Hold and Hit' style.
