I've asked versions of this question before, but I'm actually looking to get a fairly comprehensive list written up.
What fighters can make the claim to never losing at their prime weights, or only experiencing one loss and or a circumstantial one (DQ, Broken Bone TKO, ETC)
Michael Spink's was unbeaten at LHW. 25-0.
Micheal Moorer at LHW. 21-0, all knockouts.
Wasn't Henry Armstrong unbeaten at his prime weight?
Rocky Marciano at heavyweight, of course. 49-0.
Holyfield at cruiseweight. 17-0.
Vassily Jirov at Cruiserweight. 31-1.
Roy Jones at middleweight and super middleweight. 32-0.
I think Bob Foster may of been undefeated at light heavyweight.
Currently, Joe Calzaghe at super middleweight through light heavyweight. 45-0.

Felix Trinidad at junior welterweight through junior middleweight, 38-0.
Shane Mosely at lightweight. 31-0-0
Floyd Mayweather at lightweight through junior middleweight (Catchweight?) 39-0

Robinson at 147
Trinidad at 147
Gomez at 122
Spinks at 175
Marciano at heavy
Lopez at 105
Pryor at 140
Arguello at 130
Benitez at 140
Holyfield at cruiser
Morales at 122
Jones at 168
Calzaghe at 168
Mayweather at 130
Whitaker had the atrocious decision to Ramirez at 135, but that's it
You can argue that 160 was James Toney's best weight, and that 135 was JC Chavez's best weight as well.
Oh yeah, technically Svenn Ottke was never beaten at 168 as well.

Morales - 122
Robinson - 147
Chavez - 130 & 135 (He had a greater championship reign at 130 with 9 defences but probably peaked as a fighter at 135 vs Rosario)

I think Bob Foster may of been undefeated at light heavyweight.
incorrect. Mauro Mina whipped Foster at 175lb.

With Foster at 176 and Mina at 180 odd i entirely disagree on this one Suze.
IF anyone ever beat him at 175 Mustafa Wassaja MAY have but details and weights are sketchy. Personally at that stage i don't think Foster made 175 and regardless he was totally shot.

I've heard the Mina decision was a terrible one where the rounds were actually lengthened or shortened accordingly to help Mina.

Interesting stuff. The bout was deffo not fought at 175 too. To the best of my knowledge Foster was never beaten at 175. I truly don't think he would have made 175 vs Mustafa.

Shane Mosely at lightweight. 31-0-0
Floyd Mayweather at lightweight through junior middleweight (Catchweight?) 39-0
many would dispute tito undefeated run at 147. floyd was unbeaten at junior lighweight is well. many would argue that he lost his 0 against castillo

Yeah, I actually scored that fight yesterday.
Floyd lost without a doubt thanks to that broken rib.

Here's one for you: Terry Marsh unbeaten at Light Welterweight, 26-0-1.
Retired due to being diagnosed with epilepsy.
The only British World Champion, to this date, that retired has an undefeated world champion.

It depends how you interprete Catchweight matches; because someone like Ray Robinson did lose a fight weighing 147 or less....

He was beaten by Jorge Ahumada.
Not on the judges cards tho. This was the fight that made him realise it was time to go however, i believe.

I would say DLH's prime weight was 147 personally, its debatable though, given that he looked very good at the lower weights.

Gene Tunney is an interesting discussion here, he lost at LHW, but was undefeated and unified world champion at HW.

I believe ROBERTO DURAN went 62 wins from 63 bouts at Lightweight. At that point, after defeating De Jesus, he held both the WBC & WBA Lightweight titles. His single loss at Lightweight being an earlier points loss, also to De Jesus.
Duran vacated the Lightweight titles not long after (in Jan 1979), went up to Welterweight, and soon had his first match-up with Sugar Ray Leonard.

Tho "technically" they both came in over 135 so it could be discounted ;)

During the first six & a half years of JEFF FENECH's career he racked up 26 wins and a draw including IBF BW, WBC SBW & WBC FW world titles.
Even the draw in the 1st match against Azumah Nelson was an absolute rip-off.
Fenech was fighting in his 4th weight division before he suffered his first loss (in his second match with Nelson)!

^Jake Lamotta certainly was not a welterweight.
Mike McCallum was undefeated at his best weight, 154 pounds.

Willie Pep at 126 pounds. If there has ever been an unbeaten fighter at his wight ,it was Willie Pep. Pep
won his first 70 or so bouts until he lost a split decision to the tough LIGHTWEIGHT Sammy Angott and won his next 100 or so bouts until slowed down by a near fatal plane accident. Pep lost to Sandy Saddler in his 195th bout...
Just think about this... Pep lost ONE close decision bout in almost 200 fights to a
very strong Sammy Angott...I'm so darn lucky to have watched the prime Ray Robinson and Willie Pep ringside...Two best fighters I ever saw...

:deal
But I would say Benny Leonard was even more unbeaten in his prime than the amazing and ATG Guglielmo Papaleo.....and Leonard was facing better opposition in my opinion....
