I do not know carl froch well, I just know he will contest the World Championship vacant WBC. I'd like me even though you were talking about him, his style, his weak points, its strong points.

I've seen a few of his fights but only against weak opposition. He fights in a similar style to Hearns (not to compare the two), has a very solid chin and, in the fights I have seen, has one punch KO power, at least against non-elite fighters. He would definitely give anyone a decent fight. I read an interview with a guy who sparred with both him and Kessler and said Froch punches a lot harder. I reckon he could be thought out by a top fighter. An awkward guy definitely.

To put it simply, he's got power and a good chin, but his overall boxing ability is pretty poor.

Yep, there's a lot of bias towards him. Mostly due to his cocky style, carrying his left hand low and looking for one punch knock outs. He seems to punch with a real amount of power though.

The Polish fighter, Albert Rybacki that he fought in his last fight seemed to have a granite chin but his boxing ability was weak, Froch TKO'd him within 4-5 rounds if I remember right.

I was looking forward to a match-up with Jermaine Taylor, I don't think it would be as one sided as the majority of the forum seems to. He deserves a shot at some good opposition, you can't critique a fighter for not fighting the best if the best don't offer him a shot.

Froch would eat Taylor for breakfast, the guy is seriously underestimated by most on this forum.

I would rate Froch as a top 5 supermiddle who still has alot of potential. Froch vs Lacy would have fun to watch while it lasted. I think he has a tough fight in Taylor but I still believe Taylor is on the up in his career.

I think Froch would have too much movement for Lacy and see him loading up from a mile away to neutralise anything Lacy can throw.
