"Rose appeared to have things well in control for the first three rounds. He used his left jab to outbox Cruz in the 1st round and had Raul off stride during most of the 2nd. With seconds remaining in the round a wicked left hook dropped Cruz, but although Cruz seemed rubber-legged, the bell rang before Rose was able to follow up. Rose kept up his jabbing, hooking attack in the 3rd and again stung Cruz. Cruz ripped home a solid left-right to the body early in the 4th, driving Rose against the ropes. Raul swarmed in on him and sent him to the deck with a left-right to the head. Lionel stumbled up at '8', but soon hit the deck again from a right to the body. A solid left-right felled him again and was counted out at 2:57 of the round." -Boxing Illustrated, August 1970 issue

well im hees son but we been wanting 2 get the fight do you know any body that might have the fight vhs or dvd it dont matter i would apriciate that alot..

ok thanks alot well let me know how it goes..we been looking 4 hees fights 4 a long time and there so hard 2 find he had a couple but they got damage and the only 2 he has its vs chucho castillo the rematch wich he lost in a decision and vs danny lopez..but if you could ask 4 the first fight vs castillo my dad won..and he beat the undefeated at the moment and world champion rickardo arredondo..and then he also beat the 2 or 3 time world champ rafael herrera..but that 1 dont come out in the boxing record i dont know why alot of hees fights dont come out in the box rec..but hees real record that we have in a magazine when he faught danny red lopez was 48 wins 11 losses 1 draw and 35 wins by ko..and he faught againts 10 world champions and beat 5 but he only had 1 shot for the title non like others that had 2 3 or even 4 chancses 4 the title..well thanks and let me know..
