I wouldnt necisarily say that he was as good southpaw as orthodox but Jim Jeffries switched to a southpaw stance in the second Sharkey fight.

Marvin Hagler is the one who sticks out the most.

Rodolfo Martinez was left-handed but taught to box rightie. He did exceptionally well right handed, working his way up the bantamweight ranks, fighting all the top names and finally winning the WBC bantamweight title in his 3rd go with Rafael Herrera. He eventually defended against the outstanding former flyweight champ Venice Borkorsor who battled to the wire with Herrera in a previous title go and continued his form against Martinez by giving him a workover, including dropping Martinez early in the fight until Martinez turned southpaw and then turned the tables on Borkorsor, giving him a bit of a going over.

Marvin Hagler is the one who sticks out the most.
Marvin thought he was better than he actually was at fighting
conventional.
Tried to pull that on Sugar Ray Leonard and lost those rounds
and eventually cost him the fight.
Needed to "dance with the one that brung him".

I think hamed and hagler are the best shouts.

Lee Q. Murray. He was dangerous that way.

Tyrone "Butterfly" Crawley was brilliant at this. He'd unload a head bobbing left jab, then jolt with a right jab as he switched. Fun to watch. This was a guy who really understood how to trade punches on his own terms.

I agree with the Rodolfo Martinez shout. Most guys just aren't convincing to me when they do this, but Martinez not only looked comfortable either way, he was very effective either way. Watch the Zarate fight. It's either the third of fourth round, he's getting worked over pretty solidly by a Zarate who's starting to come on strong. So he decides to switch it to southpaw, and within a few seconds he smashes a left square into Zarate's face staggering him across the ring. Good stuff.

No one mentioned Herol Graham?
No one mentioned Herol Graham?
He was 99% Southpaw, other than maybe some inside stuff and outside slop that saw him end up orthodox for a bit.

Del Boy says he going to MGM Grand for his next fight - should he fight a current American like "Mighty Mike" Mitchell, "Taco-Tits" Arreola Or "Wet Toilet Paper" Wilder??
OR should Gsora call Hall of Famer "Tinkerbell" Tyson out of retirement for a new "Real Muthaphukkin' G" title?? :hey :hey

Benitez was noted for doing this during his career, but judicious enough in his use of the southpaw stance that he's rarely remembered for this today.
Another was LaMotta, who successfully switched to it at the very end of Murphy II, and landed four critical left crosses during that action. We normally think of nimble footed stylists in connection with switch hitting, but Jake could be extremely effective just stepping forward with his right foot at close quarters, being a converted southpaw. (There's also footage of him doing this momentarily as a Diamond Belt amateur. He must have done this fairly occasionally as a professional, but we simply don't have the film documenting the true frequency of this tactic from him, so the closing round action from Murphy II is especially valuable evidence.)

Miguel Cotto has switched effectively on a couple of occasions, most notably against Quintana.
