Yeah mate love fishing...lots of Squire at the mouth of the Brisbane river at the moment.....nice big ones over 1 kg.

Hey Sally, I take it your on Ausfish? A very good site indeed.
I've been bagging Bream and Lizzards left right and centre down at Jacobs Well in the last couple of month, winter's been pretty good for brissie as far as fishing goes I reckon even if the tailor have been a little slow.

Yeah its a good little hub of information thats for sure, can definatley read up on some good spots in there.

The bream haven't been huge for me, but still alright for a feed. The flatties have been big this winter though, losing a bit of gear thats for sure!

I went to Nossaville two weeks ago for some fun with my wife, daughter and a few friends and hired a BBQ pontoon on the river.

We parked in a quite spot in a sheltered sand island and as you do we were drinking and BBQing. I was eating a tough bit of steak so I threw it over the side. Next think I hear a splash in the water. I throw some cut up snags over and I see about 15 bream fighting over the snags.

They were so keen on the snag we kept giving it to them and the numbers grew to about 30 bream of all sizes.

Wish i had my fishing rod :patsch

The gaps obviously indicating the difference in level of interest. Basically, i hate motorsport and fishing, and would rather watch anything else.

Oh mate, when you dont have a line and they're biting its torture! Sounds like a good day though, nothing beats being on the water :good
