18-8 to a Botswanian.

Won the first round but got well beaten in the others according to the scorecards, havent seen the fight yet.

Hard luck.

Imagine if Fletcher or Flemming had got a draw like Boyd? They might have bagged a couple of wins but then again maybe not.

Its going to take a something amazing for Little to beat the Russian.

Beehan takes on a bit of an unknown Kazakh but the Borats are very strong usually. Plus I dont rate Beehan to highly.

Pitty takes on a Morrocan. Really not sure how the African goes, but they are usually pretty decent from Morrocco. I guess Pitt is best chance to progress now but not going to hold my breath. He only needs two wins to bag a medal.

Little has the reach and Tishenko is not as good in this division, Little needs to study the Gavin v Tishenko fight back to front and shock the world! Boyd looked sloppy as hell in the fight, tbh watching it i was wondering how he managed to get on the team, he looked like a novice.

I thought boyd did pretty well, his style worked against him a little bit in that it was hard to distinguish clear flush punches but he was definatley in it I thought. The scores stretched out towards the end mainly because he knew he needed a knockout and went for, which meant he got countered a shit load, but I like that 'take a punch to land one' mentality sometimes, makes for an entertaining fight.

Without knocking the kids, this team looks hopelessly outclassed.

Most of the Aussies shouldn't have been at the games really, it's just the piss poor opposition at the Oceania qualifiers that got them through.

It'd be better for the Aussie amateurs if they fight some of the borderline Asian/European qualification losers to get their Olympic places.
