0-1 down after first round.

He lost 18-10 to this bloke last time they fought...the top Cuba in this class. What a great draw, eh? ;) Knew this was going to be a tough one.

We got a dreadful draw.
The only one who got a decent draw in my opinion was Jeffries and I don't think he's good enough to take advantage of it sadly.

1-6 after the second, and frankly it's man against boy. Laffita just able to land punches in bunches at will pretty much, and Yafai's shots look slower in return.

Got to make it a brawl, he's not going to win this boxing. A brawl offers problems too but it's the only way.

Well, agree with that sadly.

Needs to go all out in this round.

1-7 after third.

See, now he was starting to time evading Hernandez's attacks better there, but it's too late now. Short of an unlikely stoppage in the fourth, he's out.

Cuban too good. Hard luck Khalid.
He'll most likely stay on for 2012.

Yes, I fully expect to see him in 2012.

All over, lost 3-9. Actually fought pretty evenly for three rounds then, but Hernandez totally got away from him in the second and just generally looked better at everything.

Degale up later. Didn't actually think he was as good as the score suggested in his 13-4 win over Hikal, but on the other hand Shawn Estrada is very hot and cold.

Agree he did well in some rounds to compete with the Cuban but it was always going to be very tough.

I'm not sure about DeGale as I missed his first fight and have never seen him before either.
Hopefully he can get through but then if he wins he has Korobov next

Korobov goes out but the Kazakh is very good too anyway.

Khalid gained good experience here. He is one to watch for the Common wealth games and hopefully he will get better and better.
