I know I'm not the only person that remembers when Floyd called Shane out last year and wanted to fight him before Oscar. Shane is the 1 who turned down the fight last fall. He said he didn't wanna fight again that year after the 2 Vargas fights. All the Floyd haters seem to have conveniently forgotten that though.

And you really think DLH was going to let his employee, Shane, get first shot at the undefeated top fighter? Gullable much?

Yup, and Delahoya making shane pass on the fight so he could fight him we dont know that, there is no proof to that. Delahoya nor shane has admitted to that. So we have to go on facts, and the fact of the matter is, Shane turned down a fight with Floyd. And when he turned it down he didnt sound like some1 told him to. He made xcuses. He need to see a dentist, his tooth hurt. right now he doesnt know.
So going from facts, Floyd aint scared, and shane turned down the fight

That's not the point, the point is Floyd would have fought him.
And Shane would have fought him if not for DLH....

wheres the proof for that statement. Nobody can prove that. We can all think what we want but there is no prrof to that.
People believe OJ did it lol. But wheres the prrof. So without either Shane or Oscar admitting that. The fact of the matter is that Shane turned down the fight period.

Maybe Shane should stop being Oscar's puppet and make his own decisions for a change.

Alright that's fair, where's the proof Floyd REALLY wanted Shane? Because he said so? Because he called him out? WHere's was the contract? What was the pot split? How did Shane turn down a fight when all Floyd did was say his name? Whar does that mean when Floyd turned down a fight several times w/ Margarito where Arum not only had dollar amounts for his fight but a place and date as well? And why is Floyd now saying he won't fight Shane because he's a sparring partner? Isn't Shane now trying to get him in the ring?
Too many people make a big deal out of "calling someone out". This isn't pro wrestling.

Maybe you need to learn something about business Reg. Rule #1, don't bite the hand that feeds you. Shane has a bright future AFTER boxing because of DLH. He'll have opportunities he likley would not have.
Didn't you guys notice the sort of smirk and smile Shane had when he said he had a 'tooth' problem?

That's fine, if he wants to be a business man then he can be a business man. However, he can't expect people to fight him when it's completely convienent for him. He had a chance to fight Floyd, and he turned it down to satisfy Oscar. Now he's getting turned down for the fight he wants for business reasons.

How do we even know he had a chance to fight Floyd? Because Floyd said Shane's name? If I remember, didn't Floyd ALSO call out DLH sveral times? So Floyd called out both guys, Floyd called out Winky Wright, then what? Was he going to fight ALL THREE at once? I know, that's dumb. Just pointing out how ridiculous it is to go by a fighter calling out another. Did Floyd have his promoter offer Shane a fight legitimately? Did they draw up a contract and contact Shane's manager? Doubtful. So WHY are you giving Floyd so much credence towards him calling out Shane when he called out more then one fighter? For all you know, he had NO chance to fight Shane due to Shane's boss, WHO floyd called out as well remember?
If Floyd is now turning down Shane due to 'business', then he needs to grow the fuck up.

I dont think Floyd is scared of Shane, come on now Shane is in his mid 30's and really has been beaten by Oscar in the rematch according to Floyds uncle and trainer Roger Mayweather.
I dont see any reason why Floyd would be affraid of shane, if he is affraid of anything, it would be the small purse he would get for fighting shane when he can make bigger money fighting Hatton or Cotto at this point.

Floyd and HBO wanted that fight but Shane said he was taking the year off. And you're the one who implied that Shane turned down the fight to appease his boss. So then I guess you feel he needs to grow up too.

I never said he did it stricly to appease his boss. I said that is likely factor. And HBO doesn't want it today? So he was taking a year off. So what? You seem more interested in petty comments and 'retaliation' instead of watching a fight that could be great involving your hero.
What's with you Floyd boys? Because Hatton, Cotto, and SHane said no once, that's it? Don't you want to see your hero fight? Or do you want to him call out people and get an instant win when they say no?
And what about him calling out DLH as well? Why don't you address that? Is it convenient to ignore that little tidbit? How can you call out more then onr fighter and be pissy if one said no? Shit, Shane did Floyd a favor by taking time off. Floyd made more money fighting DLH then he'll ever make again. He oughta thank Shane rather then actling like a brat.
Floyd fans a IMPOSSIBLE....:patsch

Number 1 Floyd's not my hero, he's not even my favorite fighter. Number 2, Floyd wanted called out Oscar and was supposed to fight him in Sept., then Oscar said he wouldn't fight until the following May. After this happened, Floyd decided to fight in November and Shane was targeted as a possible opponent. Floyd even stated that he was going to beat Shane and then beat his boss. You can call out two fighters if you plan on fighting one of them in Nov., and the other one in May. And if Floyd is being a brat, then what is Shane ? He turned down the fight last year to make some other man happy(you admitted that the tooth ache was a fake excuse, so give me another reason), now he's begging Floyd to fight him. Every interview he does he talks about how Floyd is his number 1 choice as an opponent.

Shane taps that ass and maybe even puts him to sleep. The problem here is styles for Floyd.Floyd cant KO shane. He cant hurt him.Shane is just as fast and punches twice as hard plus his conditioning is just as good..BUT Shane dont have no jab.The jab here is key.

So and now Shane is all set to go but Mayweather of course is going to fight Hatton instead because it's an easy win. Remember how Hatton turned down fighting Mayweather yrs ago? Of course you don't..:patsch

If PBF isn't afraid of SSM, he should be, even with SSM entering PBF's 'zone,' that is as a 35+ year old opponent.

Shane did that, obviously, because Oscar was beginning to work on setting up a fight with Floyd. Anyone who conveniently ignores this point isn't seeing the bigger picture.

PBF would beat the best version of Mosley...i'm talking about the 135 lbs version...

I strongly disagree.
I think Mosley could beat Floyd NOW. If the two met in their 135 pound primes, I think Mosley makes mincemeat out of Floyd.

LOL. That quip at the end was good shit. However, you completely contradicted yourself with this post.
"Didn't you guys notice the sort of smirk and smile Shane had when he said he had a 'tooth' problem?"
Does this statement not imply that you didn't believe Shane's toothache was legitimate? If that's not what your implying then why would you write this with, even adding parenthesis around tooth?
"And you really think DLH was going to let his employee, Shane, get first shot at the undefeated top fighter? Gullable much?"
Does this statement not imply that you believe Shane turned down that fight with Floyd at the behest of Oscar?
It seems as though you feel you know the exact sccop. I only said that HBO and Floyd wanted the fight and Shane didn't. I added that he did it for business reasons, which is what you also implied in your earlier post.

Too many people make a big deal out of "calling someone out". This isn't pro wrestling. How can you draw up a contract when Shane was saying he wouldn't fight again that year? That doesnt even make sense. Why should Floyd fight him now after he already offered him the fight? As far as Margarito goes, he's an overrated bum and hasnt beaten anybody. I said that a million times and I love Paul Williams for exposing him.
