I'll go with Cotto , only because he is the naturally bigger and stronger fighter.
True but I also feel he is slower and may have a harder time getting close to mayweather

Id say Cotto strictly on size.....But I only say Cotto to answer your question, I don't think Hatton or Cotto can beat Floyd.

Hatton has a slight edge, his is such a unique style, the antheisis of Floyds really, plus size won't matter much as Hatton will still be the stronger man, and Hatton has a better developed right hand, wheras Cotto can be too dependent on his left. I think either one could do it though.

Miguel Cotto - physically stronger, harder puncher, seems to me that he is a more fluid combination puncher whereas Hatton is a good combination puncher, but tends to hold and maul. At 147, he has also been way more impressive than Hatton was against Collazo.

you think that miguels consistent but not very fast hands will be an advantage against mayweather?
i see the opposite....hattons quick one punch style, hold and punch more will give maywether a hard time. with cotto, maywethre will slip and counter all night. maybe even enough to bloody and stop cotto.
I just like how Miguel has shown an ability to deal with speed by his constant pressure and combination punching. You may be right though.
We will know for sure about Hatton on December 8th

Cotto, he's bigger, stronger, hits harder and has better endurance than Hatton. He also has a better chin than Ricky too.

Hattons hold, punch ,hold punch tactics will give Mayweather problems in my opinion.............more problems than Cotto presents I think......

cotto is a better boxer, he is very relentless and even stronger at ww.hatton is not has strong in fact pbf last few fights have been against guys that are stronger and bigger then hatton.
styles make fights, but pbf will have lil problem with hatton style and but i can see cotto pulling off at castillo pbf 1 type fight.
cotto is the harder guy by farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

cotto's one of my favorite fighters at the moment, but i'd have to say hatton, just cause i think he's got quicker feet and would probably smother floyd's punches with his clinching, he'd also be able to rough him up inside ala tszyu/castillo. but looking at it again i'd say this is 50/50, and cotto would probably have the same chance as hatton.
Don't know, tough question. Both guys have a chance but Mayweather's chance is way bigger here.

Cotto boxes more so Cotto would lose more decisively.
Hatto would lose too though ..

Cotto easily hatton would get KTFO he went back down to 140 because Callazo kicked his ass.

Neither... Hatton tried a 147 pounder and needed a gift decision that forced his ugly ass back to 140. Hatton is going to get his ass kicked.

I'm going to say Cotto, because he's bigger, although I think Hatton is, pound-for-pound, a better fighter who doesn't have Cotto shaky chin

Hatton's got the better chance IMO. To beat Floyd you need to catch him and apply constant pressure. I think Hatton's quicker hands and feet, coupled with his mauling style allow him to do this more effectively. I don't think the fact that Cotto's bigger is much of an issue here as Floyd's shown size doesn't bother him; his back foot style reduces the likelihood of him having to engage a bigger guy.
That said, I'd still pick Floyd over the pair of them.

Cotto by far..Cotto can put punches together against anybody top and bottom and he HAS FAST HANDS...HE WAS ABLE TO BEAT ZAB TO THE PUNCH DURING THE FIGHT AND HE HAD THE QUICKER JAB THEN ZAB.. Cotto does not have foot speed but for sure has hand speed. Hatton has all around speed but not the kind that would give floyd any problems..it would only give a slow fighter problems..Hatton bounces around and fights too tall with little defense and relies on his holding and speed not to get ...That would work against a flat footed fighter..but floyd is going to have a field...day..Cotto by far...he is a monster...his chin has been tested by zab and he passed..

You cant hold a fighter and hit like that unless the other guy is stationary or coming forward....hatton coming str8 forward with no jab or defense floyd will pot shot the all hell out of him and the faster he comes in the worst the impact of the punch would be..I can see hatton bouncing in and getting uppercutted or getting a str8 right hand to the belly...Floyd is going to bring the pain....

Cotto because he's bigger, stronger and great body attacker.

i think Cotto has a very good chance at beating mayweather.
Hattons style gives Floyd opportunities all day to counter.

I believe Cotto is quicker than what people think and what makes his punches quick is that they are very short

IMO Hatton, because he has much faster feet. You have to catch PBF to hurt him. Cotto IMO might be too slow and get pot shotted all night.
