I would hate to think that Jeff harding is following a similar path to many past greats, and I`ve heard many sad reports regarding the man who should be considered an iconic Australian fighter, having demonstrated the "under dog" values, and the demonic force of an indominable fighting spirit during his hardest ring battles. Is he living in good health?? the last few years have offered very little regarding Hardings whereabouts, health and well being to myself. Can anyone offer some positive news?? Thank you.

Last saw him a couple of years ago on a current affairs type show. Unfortunately, at the time, he was basically a drunk (or reforming drunk) living on the streets. Bloody shame!

Hope someone's helped him along since then, and it's a happier tale now, but haven't heard anything.

Its not as gloomy as you think. He is having issues with the drink but is employed and trying to rebuild. The humour and wit are still intact in fact he is a funny @#$%%. The same stubbornness that got him to a world title is now dogging his progress as he won't accept help or advice from anyone.

He seems to randomly approach people and start conversing. I'd love to go up to him and start talking boxing, but I wouldn't want to trigger a switch in him. I've heard he snaps easily nowdays.
